So what kind of ‘tanker’ truck was it? A propane tank, emptied of propane and filled with chlorine? A a tanker truck load of chlorine headed for a water purification plant? Or something else? What was the source of the chlorine? What quantity?

Oh, wait, you’re being ironic. No, wait… oh, nevermind. Recursive irony makes my head go all punny.

In the book Allah the soldiers were requested to inspect a warehouse with some odd looking gas canisters. Turns out they contained chlorine gas. They were labeled with the insignia of the Iraqi Air force.

I had to do some basic research to find out what someone would be using that much chlorine gas for. The only use I could find was for purifying water. Since when does and air force have that job?

A local reported a truck had pulled up and taken a load of the gas. The troops never called to have the stuff removed and even the author didn’t seem to think much of it then. As I was reading the book on the airplane, oddly enough while sitting next to one of our troops, it became very clear to me that someone had found chemical weapons and it was only a matter of time before the Muslim terrorist set some of these off.

This gas is amazingly deadly and given the right wind conditions and setting, you have the makings of a material that will result is mass murder that could range into the thousands.

Chemical weapons were found. No one reported it. Nothing was done and now that dog has come round to bite.

Does Iraq even have running water anymore? Do they ‘purify’ their water supply? By using chlorine?

Damn newsies can’t be bothered with details, takes too much time. Besides, people only read the headlines anymore. Who needs to know the details? As long as the headline supports your prejudice.

Yeah, I screwed that up real bad. We probably provide the chemicals for reconstruction efforts and didn’t secure them properly and the bbad guys got their hands on them and used them in this attack.

Not crazy at all. This is exactly what needs to happen. How can the civilized world be so obtuse? Is it that they never hear the truth, the whole story? Our very own MSM hates Bush sooooo much that they’ve deceived the entire planet?

Civilization has to stop this and stop it dead. No ‘talks’, nor comromise, no worrying about weather they are kept in an air conditioned room or their korans are handled with gloves.

People who do this must be killed with extreme predjudice. Their supporters should be (at least) imprisoned for life or flat out executed.
