Some of the one’s with text in them are clearly intended to “send a message”, but the halo one isn’t reserved for Dems.

Here is a Bush halo.

Here is a guy with some Bush halos and links to others, including one that appears to place Bush’s head on Mount Rushmore… of course, this guy is a lefty complaining about the media conspiracy to make Bush look like Christ or something.

They photoshopped the eyes to make them more pronounced and “evil” looking. Couldn’t find the link to the original story, but I remember the difference in the original vs. edited versions of the Condi photos was striking.
