Great point!

Because Mexico sucks economically (and some say societally as well), these folks come here to raise their standard of living. Unfortunately, they aren’t doing it legally. Ironically, they’d be welcome as citizens. I’d personelly rather have them (and their families) here as fellow citizens instead of economic slaves for corporate interests used for their labor only.

If one thinks about it, our issues aren’t immigration or discrimination – they’re illegal immigration, law breakers, and those who seek to harm us – all of which seems to stem from either profound hatred or lack of respect.

Measures are needed to stem this before it becomes too late again. If you they are here legally, welcome, but if they are not and are not willing to become citizens, then the true answer is deportation.

And. yes, Mexico does routinely deport (or jail) their illegal aliens.
