How long did the trial take? How many attorney’s did Saddam have? How much media coverage was there? Oh, wait, that’s right, honora wasn’t invited and doesn’t approve so it is a mob. Sometimes it is easy to understand their love of tyranny.

Most of Asia, including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and China, have laws that permit the use of capital punishment. India also has capital punishment. None of the above countries could be considered Muslim countries.

Face it honora, most of the world still has laws providing for capital punishment and those countries which ‘retain’ capital punishment are very diverse across religious and political lines when taken in total.

Honora, Saddam wasn’t hung in public and his body wasn’t put out for public display like in Italy. This wasn’t a mob style of execution. If you want to see examples mob justice, look to France after their revolution.

Less than 100 years ago We used to hang folks for just being horse thieves.

Now it takes killing 130,000 of your own people to get hanged, and that wasn’t even in our country or by our government.

I say hang all convicted murderers and rapists, and child molestors. In the town square.

Jail is expensive rope is cheap.

I hear that after they were executed, neither Mussolini nor Saddam entertained any thought of revenge. If not, then it appears a way to avoid or end a “cycle” of violence is to kill most of one’s enemies.
