Sir, I respect you for your insight and passion, and, I also, think the writers need a little more work….

but I believe, and I may be wrong, that the whole point of the show, is a “jab” at the extremeism in the media.

They are making the point by presenting it from the opposite point of view, which in my opinion, makes it fairly humourous, kinda like “The Simpsons”.

Watch it or not, you have the power, change the channel, I intend to watch the whole show before making final judgement…….

Just my two cents….

P.S. Someone on here send me some cash and I will make a conservative TV comedy that’ll make you pee your pants.

I promise you, the American people, four years (or more) of Commander-in-Chief excellence.

There’s nothing funny about the Hannity-esque idea that the President is the Commander-in-Chief of the American people. Commanders-in-Chief are above reproach. They are allowed to make orders, and their orders must not be questioned by those under their command. It is authoritarianism masquerading as patriotism to raise the President (whose title is “Mr. President” to American citizens) to the level of a Commander of the American people. It is anything but patriotic. To quote Theodore Roosevelt:

To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.

Not really joking material, Rush.

And then we have Coulter, repeating her foul theocratic assassination-fantasy war cry:

We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity.

On September 13th, her anger was at least understandable. Now she just acts to tarnish Conservatives by proximity by repeating her filthy exhortation.

This show is not only incredibly unfunny (which in and of itself acts as an insult against Conservatives’ implied lowbrow sense of humor), it presents radically right-wing views as being representative of Conservatism. Concentration of executive branch power, loyal trusting of the government, theocratic imperialism … William F. Buckley Jr. would be disappointed and terrified.

But knowing Rush is deaf, his sense of humor, his intellect, and his commitment to Conservatism, along with his respect for “24″…. and Anne C., don’t ever stop the Dems from protecting their “nuts” when your in the room
