I spoke with a buddy of mine yesterday about the pricing on this (he’s a producer in LA). Apparently they’re planning to keep the ticket prices down – $30 or so – best buy is going to foot the bill on a lot of it.

As for Copeland, I’m with Phil Collins when he said that Copeland was one of the best drummers in the world, it was just a shame that Copeland thought so too.

Sting looks as smug as ever…

For those of us who remember the first albums, they were a bright shinning day with all the punk junk being thrusted into the market.

For everyone’s political agendas, yes even ours, the members of the “Police” were actually quite tame…. yes, Sting was a stand out, but at his core, he was, and still is, a musician.

Over the years, I have found much pleasure in his different approaches, working with different artists…

I give them credit…. it could have gone horriblry wrong…. Does anyone remember Jeff Beck’s attempt at a come back, for God’s sakes, he went deaf at the sound check for the first concert……..

Why not say, “Spot on Boys…. nice to hear you make an attempt…..”, or do you want them to fail, just to fail.

Not I. I know I don’t have that much musical tallent in my body, even though I can carry a tune. But, I will not take away thiers. Go boys, go…

I will give anyone a second, third, even an everlasting attempt at glory, as long as in the final end, it is real, comes from the soul, …….. and sounds good.

It doesn’t mean I will buy anymore CD’s, but I will give them OK, and thank them for thier efforts…….
