As Obama and both Democrat and Republican Presidential candidates lay-out their ideas, they will do well to put themselves in the current President’s shoes because chances are they will be forced to walk more than a mile in them. The question is: how….

They might as well have sent a Valentine care package to every troop overseas in a big red box with lots of pretty decorations adorning the outside, but when the soldiers open it, inside they find a big, plump leech….

Could we ask them to please dissolve their healthcare plan and join ours?

Could we ask them to please dissolve their retirement plan and collect SS just like us?

Could we ask them to please pay just a few of their own expenses?

Could we ask them to please make corporate lobbying illegal?

Could we ask them to please work 5 days a week?

Could we ask them to please legislate term limits?

Could we ask them to please reduce spending?

Could we ask them to please secure our borders?

Could we ask them to please play nice with each other?

Could we ask them to please limit campaigning to 1 yr. before the election?

Could we ask them to please stop lying?

Could we ask them to please stop all the pretend oversight?

Could we ask them to please do their jobs?

I also agree that Murtha has just disparaged the substantial contribution of blood and treasure made by the Australians.

The first question for Murtha, Pelosi, Dean, etc. at every new conference here out should be, “What makes Murtha think that the Iraqis will rout AQ if we leave?” Make them defend that asinine statement or retract it.

How about we ask the troops?

Congressman Murtha, please explain why, if Iran and AQ “want us in there”, that they are so in love with the thought of a cut-and-run Democrat winning the White House in ’08? The two thoughts cannot be reconciled. But since when do you need to reconcile thoughts, all you need to do is spew fertilizer for the prevailing BDS.

Congressman Murtha, please explain how the indigenous Iraqi forces will destroy their enemy quicker without U.S. support than with? So you’re saying that our military is just that incompetent? Just that ineffective? Or just that stupid and lazy? Perhaps it’s all the obscene amenities they are too busy enjoying.
