Fauxtography: Lebanese death porn paparazzi revealed

The johns are out in front with their cameras but the pimp’s identity is hidden by the dead baby. Is that a yellow-orange hazard vest I spy, though, peeking out at the bottom of the frame between the arms outstretched to paw at the decomposing infant?

Friends, it is.

Update (Bryan): Unless I’m missing something, this video has been out since last August. I posted on it here and, along with a CNN clip that’s also in that post, this video tells you basically how things work in Middle Eastern war zones.

Update: Sorry for the confusion. The photo at LGF is the subject of the post; I didn’t want to swipe it, so I’m making you click. The video is here simply to show that it’s Green Helmet who’s holding the baby aloft. You can tell him by the vest.

And yes, per the comments, it’s worth revisiting.

A dead child being abused for propaganda. How low can these people – green helmet and his crew – go to spread lies? How can mainstream media not hide under their beds in sheer embarassment having defended their use of stringers and stories from questionable sources, just like these.

What an OUTRAGE! B@st@rd…

Pray for Lebanon.

Pretty sick.

Pretty sick and yet unsurprising. How could you expect anything different? These people start infecting their kids at age 0. These are the adult results.

Good eye! It is likely that is our old friend Green Helmet.

The MSM and 99% of everyone else in the USA, think the world would be a better place if everyone would just watch American Idol instead of digging deeper than typical MSM coverage. Or they are like my co-worker with apparently needless paperwork; if you ignore it or pretend it is not there, it might go away.

I also remember seeing videos of UN ambulances, clearly marked by the blue flag and UN letters, transporting armed “locals” in civilian clothes, not UN troops. A clear violation of Geneva for Lebanon, Hezbollah, and the UN. It’s sick that it never gets the attention that the MSM gives invasion of privacy headlines like Tom Cruise’s wedding, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s affair, or Anna Nicole Smith’s recent demise. It’s not a bad country. It is bad media.

Can we go back and see how Time Magazine, the New York Times, the LA Times, CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, and MSNBC used this propaganda, read how they incorporated it into thier “news” with photographs and op eds????

For days on end??? Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again?

Independent?

When does thier propagandist actions for an arm of an enemy of this country get punished???

{crickets}

What does the Daily KOS or other far-left sites comment about things like this? “It’s Bush propaganda trying to frame a charity organization (Hezbollah)”?

El Guapo on February 9, 2007 at 9:29 PM

This is one of the most despicable things I have ever seen. Seeing this makes me almost glad there is a hell.

WHAT A SON OF A B*TCH!!

Troy Rasmussen on February 9, 2007 at 9:42 PM

I was going to point out that this is really old. I mean really old. But then I realize this has never been shown, or refered to in the legacy media.
Unless you follow the center-right blogs, the Fauxtography scandal never happened.

I think you’re missing what I initially missed when I didn’t click the link… I think Allah used that video to suplement the post, when the photo (follow the LGF link) that is the REAL subject of the post is newly discovered.

Note to Allah: If this is in fact where Bryan’s confusion came from, you may want to throw the picture up here in the post, because I initially thought the same thing until I clicked through the link. As I read the post, I feel like the image you’re talking about is the video.

I was about to say the same thing, till I actually read the post to see you’d beaten me to it

Nevertheless, always good as a reminder..

It’s as if that poor baby is trophy for those men.

Gotcha. So I was missing something. It’s been a long day. Nevertheless, if you haven’t seen that earlier post about all this it’s worth a click.

…instead of digging deeper than typical MSM coverage.
El Guapo on February 9, 2007 at 9:16 PM

No kidding. Of all things out-sourced these days, should that include real journalism?

thedecider on February 9, 2007 at 11:51 PM

This sort of thing should be shown on every newscast. But the MSM will never show it.

Green Helmet Guy must get his jollies from fondling and abusing dead children. Anyone remember him parading the little dead girl around to all the photographers?

Sick doesn’t begin to cover it.

CrazyFool on February 10, 2007 at 12:54 AM

The MSM loves to show dead bodies, as long as those bodies are not of terrorist and/or insurgents. Whether it’s in Gaza or Iraq, you will rarely see the bodies of “freedom fighters” unless those bodies are portray as innocent victims. That, more than anything else, demonstrates the intent of the MSM to influence public opinion against Israeli and American interests and policies.

Is it just me or does the vest remind you of Luke Skywalker’s flight suit?

MirCat on February 10, 2007 at 11:57 AM

It reminds me grade school street-crossing guards. The only thing missing is the red stop flags.

RedinBlueCounty on February 10, 2007 at 12:02 PM

Damn. Just beyond despicable. Nauseatingly evil. And, our own media is an accomplice.

kace on February 11, 2007 at 1:29 AM

Go to LGF for all of your fautography needs, and to The Second Draft for the Pallywood and Al Dura details.

Remember the purpose. Portray America and Israel as indiscriminate murderers. Fabrication is justified if the result is achieved. Many Arab media outlets are knowing accomplices, many American ones either knowing or unknowing (and uncaring) tools. If it tells the story they’d prefer to tell, they will never question or investigate beyond what they are given. That has been proven hundreds of times over in the past five years, why would we think otherwise?
