Terro-luvin’ network website hotlinks blogger’s pic without asking. Blogger notices, reacts as the unwashed tend to do.
(via Ace)
Correction: The website involved in this little caper is Aljazeera.com, not Aljazeera.net. The latter is the site of the terror luvin’ network, the former isn’t. So I had that wrong above. Nevertheless, the comedy is still gold.

Bryan, you may want to re-think that. See below from the other “Aljazeera”:

uh, halfway down the aljazeera site, I’m seeing what looks like a pic of the mohammed with a bomb in his turban… I’ve saved it and am posting it at my site in case they take it down.
dalewalt on February 6, 2007 at 3:34 PM
dalewalt, that’s what Snapped Shot did. They replaced the url to point to the mohammed cartoon.

ah… I didn’t read all of the snapped shot post… Nice :-)

haha, serves them right for not only being who they are… but for hotlinking! I’ve done this before as well… Let’s say the image I put up was a little les SFW though. And a little more gay. I simply changed the name of the original photo I was using in the post and changed the reference in the post accordingly, then went out and found a disturbing image and named it with the original file name and sat back and laughted my ass off.

One of the comment posters has even pointed out the cartoon to them and it is still there.

Dude I just pulled a muscle laughing. That was the coolest thing … ever.

I wish he’d change it to a text image like:
+ Al Jazeera thinks Christians know best.
+ Al Jazeera - we love to hate.
+ Can you make up stories? Apply to become an Al Jazeera Journalist!
No one seems to notice the bombhead guy in the comments much :(

I can’t believe they haven’t changed that link yet. Good job Brian! Funny stuff.
Fatwas to be issued…

Going on what? 4 hours? I bet they have a room full of people screaming and yelling and foaming at the mouth and no-body knows how to change it. (Must be siesta time someplace)

Mohabombhead still up, and hilarious as ever. I’m sure it’s cached on Google by now. Someone Tube a pan shot of that article.

This is from the website.
The 44 International Telephone Country Code is for the UK.
http://travel.airwise.com/info/intl_numbers.html
My question is: If their office is located in UAE, why is their phone located in the UK? That must be one hell of a long phone cord!
RedinBlueCounty on February 7, 2007 at 5:22 PM
That isn’t terribly uncommon. Most likely they pay fees for a British number that is re-routed to Dubai, just to cater to folks who speak english.
