(Fabricated) Quote of the Day

posted at 10:01 am on February 6, 2007 by Bryan

Old but relevant:

“Boykin has made it clear that he takes his orders not from his Army superiors but from God–which is a worrisome line of command.”

That quote made US Army General William Boykin a target of Christophobic liberals and MSM scribblers for years, for the thoughtcrime of being an evangelical Christian. And it was a fabrication.

Blowback

That Arkin has a job tells you all you need to know about the MSM.

I did a search of public records at Military.com(20 million records) shows no hits under the name William Arkin except one retired Navy Commander(0-5). Doesn’t mean Mr Arkin hasn’t served….we all know how efficient public record keeping is….but still….

Is anyone shocked that the Left would lie? After all, they believe that truth is relative and there are no black and whites. They only believe in shades of grey and Christianity is the darkest shade of grey so lying about Christianity is a lighter shade of….pale.

Heh. Who would have thunk it? Liberals are, after all, “fake but accurate.”

Arkin rears his ugly head again, to the detriment of the military. I’d never heard of him before the infamous blog posting last week, but obviously he’s been a thorn in the side of the good guys for a while.

Limerick,

The military.com database is not complete, and most of the profiles are not from DoD records, but from people who register.

Arkin was in the Army from 1974-1978.

I will say that I was pissed off to learn that the military.com database does have my DoD record and even identifies me as being in Intel. A click to the USsearch site got me all my previous addresses for the past couple of decades plus a lot of other info for a mere $40.

F***king internet.
