I was pleasantly surprised to find out that, not only does he have a fine voice but that the judges were very receptive and took the audition in the spirit in which it was intended. Bravo for all concerned! And I have to add that this show is INCREDIBLY popular during deployments, if only for the comedic value of watching idiots make fools of themselves. The desert is a pretty dull place during both of the hours you have off...
