Turn over a rock in the Middle East, and Iranian terrorist helpers come scurrying out.
JERUSALEM: Seven Iranian weapons experts were seized yesterday in a raid by Fatah-affiliated security forces on the Islamic University, a Hamas stronghold in Gaza City.
Amid an escalation in the confrontation between Hamas and Fatah Palestinian factions, an eighth Iranian was reported to have committed suicide rather than be taken prisoner.Sources close to President Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah said the Iranians included intelligence and chemical experts and a senior military officer.
The Israeli news site Y-Net quoted a Palestinian source as saying the officer was a general.
Although Hamas and Islamic Jihad are known to have sent agents to Iran for training, this is the first report of Iranian personnel in the Palestinian territories.
It’s unlikely to be the last.
Hamas and Fatah inked a cease-fire on Tuesday. How’s that going? Depends on who’s doing the reporting.
NPR: Cease-Fire Collapses Between Palestinian Factions
The AP: Palestinian cease-fire holds despite factional shootings
The facts are that fighting erupted when Hamas attacked a few Fatah trucks that, according to Hamas, were carrying arms in from Egypt for Fatah. At least 8 are dead in the shooting. It’s hard to see how AP has the right of this story: For a cease-fire to hold, the firing actually has to cease.
Cease-fire or no, the world is eventually going to have to wake up to the grim reality that Iran is meddling in Iraq, in Lebanon and in Gaza, and wherever Iran meddles, you have strife and violence and the threat of civil war. If we want to stop all this fighting in all these places, the place to go is Tehran. Right now, we’re treating the symptoms and not the disease.
Update (AP): Hillary’s solution? Let’s chat ‘em up!

Have I ever mentioned that this is all one war, and we’re all in it?

Precision strikes in Tehran. NOW. Take out all known military apparatus. Seal the nuke facilities. Let the Navy erradicate the Iranian naval forces to lessen the threat in the straits. . All at the same time. Get Em! Grrrr.

I’m sure that the Muslim leaders of Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, and Hamas will be very interested in having political discussion with a white, non-Muslim, woman… That’s not going to happen.

Hey come on, Iranian weapons experts need a vacation. They were taking a little break from their day to day routine and thought a vacation in Gaza would be relaxing.
Kind of like the yound men who came over here for a “getaway” and ended up on those crazy planes that ran into some building a few years ago.
Pure coincidence.

They probably looooooooved talking to Madeleine Albright, because they knew they’d get what they wanted.

Yes,Hillary let’s psychoanalyze the poor terrorists so we can understand them better and give them a big group hug and everything will be OK.
Man, I woke up in a pissy, cynical mood this morning. I’m glad its Friday.

You’re absolutely right Bryan. Tehran is where we should be going. At least we should be setting up a few missiles along the Iraqi Iranian border.

Not to worry. I just sent an email to the UN and told them about this. I bet that they will be pissed.

Denial is easy. Confrontation is hard. Guess which path a majority of Americans and most of our political leaders will choose?
(at least up until the time where there is no longer a choice)

So what do we do? go in and take out Tehran? regime change? sh*t, we’ve done such a great job in Iraq, I can’t imagine that we’d fail in Iran. sarcasm off/ I’m a bit cynical today. I’ve always had a really cheery outlook for Iraq. now, i’m not so sure. The tide is turning, and it’s not in our favor, unfortunately.

Today, Secretary of State, John Fffiinnng Cary (sent by newly elected President HildeBeast RodinHand Clinton) travels to Tehran to meet with President Mahmuck Ahmadinkjob. Secretary Cary nibbles Brie cheese and sips Chardonnay with Ahmadinkjob, and discusses terms of surrender (American surrender to Iran).
America surrenders, after much dialogue with Iran and Syria. As promised by the DemonCRATS, they achieve “peace in our time”.

Our gov refuses to release the report (on Iran meddling), saying they don’t want to offend the enemy. Our government is so insane, so full of $hit! Maybe as insane as the Iranians!

Golly thanks, Jimmy!

Rumor has it that Jimmy left the submarine force when they were redesigning the cooling systems to handle the higher reactor power output. His suggestion to install screen doors on the subs was not really well received by those who have trouble thinking outside the box.
