Naziboy’s tedious prose makes Mein Kampf a painful read. It’s like trying to read the Bible or the Koran. You’d think history’s most well-known megalomaniac would have authored some fascinating works given the extent of his sway over German opinion.

I relented one third of the way through, and my copy only sees the light of day when debunking claims that Hitler was an atheist, individualist, or pro-capitalist.

It’s rather bizarre actually. I find it hard to believe and would bet it’s somehow bogus.

It’s impossible for me to believe that American opinion of Muslim countries has actually IMPROVED since 2002.

The poll results are incredibly stable from 2002-2007, not having gone up or down dramatically, on any of the items.

This is bad news, and totally in line with the hibernating attitude of our populace.

I’d like to meet the ‘no opinion’ ones.

Probably right, but it also may mean that they just get tired of the “sky is falling” mentality. The Jihadists are coming, global warming is going to destroy us, Pelosi is speaker, the administration is corrupt, the President is a traitor (that from an ex VP), every lead story is a killing or kidnap, the Mexicans are taking over the U.S., Kennedy is still a senator, the economy is a mess (that is the most bizarre), no one has health care, the SS is bankrupt, kids are being sent to die (they never volunteer to fight), everyone hates us in the world, we have the most backward health system in the world, conservatives want to destroy the earth, our kids are uneducated, and on and on and…
Maybe a little Simon, Randy or Paula is needed to wash that garbage out of our system. Maybe. Some people just want to live their life with their family, and not be told it is being savaged.
When that person comes along, they are President…ala Reagan.

How true.

An Arab Mohammedan reading “Mein Kampf” is somebody who insists that the Holocaust never happened, but hopes to finish the job. It reminds me of the old joke about when God was creating the earth: one of his angels observed, “You’re giving the Jews such a disproportinate number of physicians, lawyers, bankers, scientists, and Nobel laureates. Doesn’t seem fair.”

To which God replied, “Yes, but wait ’till you see who I’m giving them for neighbors!”
