The left looked petty and hypersensitive when they crucified Rush Limbaugh for his innocuous remarks. Now the right are the ones who look like petty crybabies, and hypocrites to boot. Biden’s comments were completely harmless. Cut the act.

There’s a reason the left is able to live under different rules. It’s because the right doesn’t hold them responsible.

Do we want to? Do we want to promote an environment where people are “held responsible” when they speak in an unfortunately ambiguous manner which might be misrepresented or intentionally misinterpreted and other people choose to accept those unintended interpretations?

Rant away! It was a pleasure to read your post. Your sons are in good hands (yours) and come from obviously good stock. I have faith that our country will get through this thanks, in no small part, to great Americans like yourself. It will take many years and much bloodshed, but the righteous will prevail. There is no other option.

Look, I know that no one is going to read this but here goes… (Opinion) We are getting our collective conservative clocks cleaned. Those of us rely on the, seemingly, simplest forms of logic either fail to articulate the obvious or fail to adequately deconstruct, debunk, or shame the deservedly lame liberal arguments. (at least en-mass)It pains and discourages me that the average American cannot absorb, what seems to be, the most simplest of realities; Muslim radicals want to kill Americans. I consider myself a rational man. My grandfather fought in WWII, my father is a veteran of Nam and DSI and I served in Bosnia (1995). Needless to say we’ve either been shot or shot at in the defense or endeavors of this nation. We love America period. However at this point and in all honesty, I feel like a Venezuelan that has had his country and freedoms yanked from beneath his feet. In short, where do I aim, where do I mass fires, where do I make my last stand and go out fighting? I want my two sons to live in the America that I was born in or, at the very least, know that dad made a stand and fought for this great nation. End rant… NOW.
