I agree with you that McCain-Foolsgold is bad law, but you missed the point of the problem. It is against the law for government workers to campaign for politicians at work, during working hours (off work, on their own time, and off government property, there is no problem). The law that was broken was the fact that official government-owned facilities were used to publicize ‘Jon Cary’ at tax-payer expense. THAT’S what caused the actual problem. But I personally agree that the photo-op was worth it!

Funny how there’s no mention of the fact that Kerry violated the law by actually making the stump speech. I guess the law doesn’t pertain to members of Congress. After all, they’re the ones actually making the campaign speeches.

Ahhh, memories! I can recall someone posting an absurb pic of Bush on a forum back in ‘04. I warned them, but they didn’t listen. I threw down this pic of Kerry-tubby and it was over.
