Good. Put your money where your mouth is. Vote to defund the war. I dare ya.

Iblis on January 28, 2007 at 3:14 PM

I didn’t realize we had such intellectual giants in congress.

Jeff on January 28, 2007 at 3:17 PM

Tammy Bruce said to Charles from LGF that “they’re stuck in the sewer”.

Conyers is an old and ‘happy’ rat in that sewer. He just keeps reaffirming, over, and over again.

Entelechy on January 28, 2007 at 3:19 PM

I should have added that this is what you get running the government when intellectual giants vote.

Jeff on January 28, 2007 at 3:24 PM

First of all, I won’t even watch this video. These people are such a waste of life. (And by “these people” I mean virtually every elected Democrat currently holding national ofice)

RightWinged on January 28, 2007 at 3:29 PM

Notice that the leftists only want to stop wars when we’re winning. But I agree, they won’t do a thing.

Buzzy on January 28, 2007 at 3:30 PM

I agree…let’s somehow revolt and defund Congress. It’s not that I don’t support Congress, I just dont’ think they can get the job done.

SouthernGent on January 28, 2007 at 3:31 PM

While Conyers was speaking there, were some of his aides baby-sitting his kids and running personal errands for him on the government dime?

Defund Conyers is right!

JetBoy on January 28, 2007 at 3:33 PM

The MSM and the nutroots will continue to force the Dems hand. Defunding, impeachment, war-crime trials, all are in the near future. The last thing the Dem candidates want is for the MSM and nutroots to treat them like they treat Bush.
The Dems will cave, then turn and run. Problem is it looks like the Reps are doing the same thing….running for cover at every opportunity.

GW needs to call a press conference…withdraw from the Republican party….and release to the press every single conversation he has had with every single politician. Sure it will get him impeached…..it is going to happen anyway so I say FLUSH em with you George. Time to wipe the cheeks of DC clean.

Limerick on January 28, 2007 at 3:33 PM

I think he should bring it to a vote. And the sooner the better. Let’s hear the arguments, show yourselves yellow democraps…

Zorro on January 28, 2007 at 3:33 PM

Vote for Conyers!…
because senility is a terrible thing to waste.

They should issue him a bib at the entryway doors to the house chamber… so that he doesn’t drool on himself.

CyberCipher on January 28, 2007 at 3:38 PM

This “protest” like all moonbat protests, are made up of crazies from many different “causes”. They gather like rats because they know the MSM will cover sheer numbers and will not report what the demographics are.

Conyers is a kook, just as Schumer is. I watched that idiot (schumer) on meet the press this AM. He said he didn’t believe that this non-binding resolution wil embolden the enemies of this country.

He may be right. I don’t give his (or congress’s) opinions any weight either. The only poll numbers worse than the presidents is that of the US congress.

csdeven on January 28, 2007 at 3:43 PM

Conyers’ district is very heavily muslim.

Labamigo on January 28, 2007 at 3:46 PM

Do the people support the Democrats’ madness, or were they just tired of Republicans being incompetent?

In all the excitement I’ve kinda lost track myself.

But seeing as how this is about the 2008 presidental election for the most powerful nation in the world…

You’ve got to ask yourself a question: “Do I feel Lucky?” Well?! Do ya?! PUNK?!

So yes. Put it to a vote. Make my day.

Jones Zemkophill on January 28, 2007 at 3:50 PM

Can we question their patriotism yet?

Non-Video: RightWinged calls for defunding the Conyers

My first thought, exactly!

IrishEyes on January 28, 2007 at 4:10 PM

Its more and more clear every day that the democratic party woudl rather declair war on America than on America’s enemies.

William Amos on January 28, 2007 at 4:15 PM

Hey, Conjob!

My kids need sitting on Saturday night – got any staffers available on the taxpayer dime?

Good Lt on January 28, 2007 at 4:18 PM

I’m just curious as to how the dems can make fun of Bush’s problems with articulating when they have bleach guzzling Neanderthals like this in office.

One Angry Christian on January 28, 2007 at 4:20 PM

Can we question their patriotism yet?

Capitalist Infidel on January 28, 2007 at 3:51 PM

I question his patriotism, his intelligence, his intentions and his motivation. I also ask the same questions of the fools who keep re-electing him.

.

GT on January 28, 2007 at 4:41 PM

Guess I missed something- when did he get out of jail? Oh, right, he’s a dimocrat..

Scotsman on January 28, 2007 at 4:51 PM

That is what I want to see, a vote. Let’s get it on the record.

right2bright on January 28, 2007 at 5:02 PM

Really, Americans of all political persuasions should take a good, long, hard look at the intellectual capacity of the people representing them.

Morons like Conyers, Barney Frank, Charlie Rangel should not be given positions of senior responsibility in any field. You hear them talking and you think “school janitor”.

uptight on January 28, 2007 at 5:06 PM

The enemy among us.

rplat on January 28, 2007 at 5:27 PM

Yes, I want a vote. Bring it on.

Wade on January 28, 2007 at 5:29 PM

I always liked the saying “Lest We Forget”. Well folks it looks like some of us forgot that saying at the last election. These people (Dems) aren’t fooling around their going for the jugular. Where was expose from Glenn Beck before the election. Oh so our reality gets played out on 24 like the Dem reality got played out on West Wing! Are you crazy ! I prefer to live in the real world thank you. The squeeky wheel gets the oil !(no pun) It’s time to stand up and be counted. Example: Every city and every town has been invaded by mexicans. It’s too late to reverse. What impact will this have in the long run. Who knows? The Silent Majority lost the last election. So where’s the majority? We are in a fight for our existance, dare I say lives. If there is such a majority where are the rallies in DC. We need a show of support for THE U.S.A. Someone please put together ralley of Patiotism some where in the country . How about Gettysburg? THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING AND IT IS NOT A T.V.SHOW!!

sonnyspats1 on January 28, 2007 at 5:40 PM

Where’s Kramer?

Wade on January 28, 2007 at 5:58 PM

Is anyone surprised that this traitor would do this?

georgej on January 28, 2007 at 6:08 PM

Speaking of evil and bad men…

StuLongIsland on January 28, 2007 at 6:30 PM

While Conyers is expounding on the Constitution might he explain how the unconstitutional organization known as the Congressional Black Caucus is allowed to exist? In the very seat of government no less. Supported by US taxpayer $$$$$$. Is it any wonder that these lefties are unpatriotic, they don’t even abide by our Constitution, although it has been rewritten to suit their purposes.

Jeff on January 28, 2007 at 6:36 PM

I’m with sonnypats on this one….

Any place in the country….even if I have to hitch there.
We need a march that puts ruts in the concrete. Of course it will be the ‘racist-fundamentalist’ march to the MSM.
Do you care?

Limerick on January 28, 2007 at 6:54 PM

The Dems want to defund the war. Well it’s a start. Here’s the plan. Errode patriotism, defund the war, dismantle the military, destroy the economy , reinstitute welfare to it’s former glory days, gun control, gun registration, political correctness, gloom and doom in the msm, party hearty, drugs for every one (health care), spike the crime rate. I lived through the Democrat program agenda days from Kennedy to Carter, in my home town of Camden, New Jersey So I must say I couldn’t have prouder on Friday night, you see my home town finally made to the #1 one spot in the USA. I was bust in my bottons. Diane Sawyer chose to start laying the ground work for the welfare crew, on 20/20. They high lighted the poorest city in the U.S., which also holds the #1 murder rate (or did) in the U.S. Well low and behold Camden, New Jersey. I graduated High school there and attended Rutgers University south campus in 1972. I guess Dianne was trying to evoke sympathy for the lad she chose to interview. She took the cameras in his house and showed the broken plaster walls, and the lack of heat and partial electricity. Diane joined the lad in the living room where he was doing his homework. The boy stated he was determined to graduate to honor his hard working father.OK The father shows up with a rolled up news paper swatting the infestation of cucarachas in the kitchen. WTF I’m like hey Pancho get a clue my family were immigrants from sicily and when there was a crack in the wall you got up and patched it. My grandmother used to scrub her marble stoop in Philly OUTSIDE the house. She used to boil the bed sheets. The Federal government has dumped truck loads of money in that city, phone numbers worth! Housing and education, program after program for 40 years. It doesn’t work folks. I ain’t buying it! I’m starting the GOYA program Get Off Your Ass! Monty Python even knew that the parrot is dead. I would like to help the people of my home town so please visit http://www.cramerhilllittleleague.com and check it out. I played baseball on that league. TKS.

sonnyspats1 on January 28, 2007 at 7:10 PM

Conyers is speaking what most Democrat politicians are wanting to do. Conyers isn’t considered a leader in the party and he has risen to the highest level that he will so he doesn’t mince words like Pelosi or Reid.

Most of the Dems understand that they can be ripped apart if they do to the Iraqis what they did to the South Vienamese; at least if they do it too soon. They will wait and make gestures like the upcoming vote of no confidence. They’ll disapprove troop surges, additional armament, rules of interrogation, etc. In other words, they’ll do all they can lose the war but still blame Bush.

cmay on January 28, 2007 at 8:23 PM

First point, the Congress is not involved with deployment. They are however involved in the placement of US bases and base closings, but as I understand it, that still is under the fund don’t fund power.

Second, he doesn’t even know all the branches of the US military. Which brings me to the Democrat moto; Semper Infi

It is not only our constitutional right to assemble, but our patriotic duty.
Yes we should organize a massive rally to honor our troops and our President. When is the last time the conservatives excercised the right to assemble,a Billy Gramm sermon ? Use it or lose it America!

sonnyspats1 on January 28, 2007 at 10:39 PM

Just another run of the mill democrat traitor.

NRA4Freedom on January 28, 2007 at 11:03 PM

CyberCiphers: “Vote for Conyers!…
because senility is a terrible thing to waste.”

My thought exactlly as I listened to the arsehole. Do yo recall when he and all the other Mad hatters were doing the mock impeachment hearings in the basement of the Captial Building? They were even refering to him as Mr.Chairman! Well the ironic laugh is sure on us because now he is. Let us hope it is short lived.

auspatriotman on January 29, 2007 at 12:39 AM

Now he is for the “Founding Fathers”???????????

Weren’t they all slave owners, or most of them, or some of them. or one of them………..

Didn’t he kiss him during the SOTU speech???

Sorry, it’s late, makes me want to…….. go to sleep.

Conyers telling us we need to follow the laws of this country?

That’s funny.

Conyers chairing the House Judicial Committee.

Not funny. But this powerful position should keep his congressional staff busy, limiting the time they can devote to babysitting and grocery shopping for this mental midget.
