Video: A message from the Reagans about drugs

Via Hit & Run, the Gipper’s presidency reimagined as a radical libertarian experiment. Amazing what small-government stoners with Avid software can do.
It’s going to be this kind of Friday, I think. Fair warning.

One of Reagan’s finest speeches! Now I know why California voted for him.

Is it me or is there a theme running here today? First Michelle with a homage to pole dancing next Allah pushing drugs with one helluva sales team. Really though the Dems haven’t had control for thirty day and they seem to be conveying a message of LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED! So I guess the song by the Beastie Boys has been taken literally here You Gotta Fight for Your Right to Paartay! I will say it is the Democrets achillies heel.

Comedy is about truth, but a punchline is always about reversal of reality. In short, this is some funny shi’ite.

This leaves a bad taste in my mouth, unfortunately – because I’m reminded of that annoying-as-hell re-edit of George W.’s last SotU address.
Anyone else remember that? “We are gathered here to threaten the world… Relying on the compassion of the United States is not an option.”
And of course, I know people who said that the remix sounded way more honest thatn the original speech.
