I expected at least a stealth edit on the AP headline.

Although stealth editing might be even smarmier than their obviously biased reporting.

I’m not sure which is worse, but both happen way too often.

The pathetic jihadi loving leftists who write the news headlines on the Comcast homepage managed to make the AP headline I was referring to even worse:

“Charges For D.A. In Duke Rape Case”

The inclusion of the pejorative “Duke Rape Case” along with the deceptive “For” aims to fool the uninitiated into believing that the charges are against the defendants, and they get to say they didn’t ignore the story.

Using “for” or “with” in place of its antonym “against” is one of their favorite ways of softening realities they aren’t happy about.

It’s sad how news organizations are subtly, or not so subtly shifting their focus from just reporting the news, to trying to shift the publics perception of the news.

Keep on ‘em Bryan… This is the kind of stuff I love (well hate actually, but love catching).

One thing though… I noticed last night after you made the update, saying they’d fixed the headline, that they hadn’t. If you click on the first link in the other post, it takes you to the story with the original lying headline. They may have resubmitted the story with a corrected headline somewhere, but by following the original link you used, we can clearly see that the headline was still that original lie.

I just wish the MSM, or even Fox News would point out that this and similar things go on all the time with the AP, and it’s pushed heavily by Yahoo!’s home page (the home page of many millions of people). This sort of crap is what has put us in the situation we’re in in Iraq today, and this is the sort of crap that will continue and prevent us from winning the way we should have already and need to.

The Associated Press is evil… plain and simple. And this isn’t even getting in to Jennifer Loven’s history, or any of the other thousands of examples of sh** they try to pull.
