Video: Rosie calls for Bush’s impeachment on “The View”
posted at 12:28 pm on January 24, 2007 by Allahpundit
Of all the stupid things said by leftists that we’ve showcased on this site, her point about Bush’s alleged hypocrisy in honoring the New York subway hero while sending more troops to Iraq may be the very stupidest.
Come for the Rosie, stay for the Behar wondering who gave the commander-in-chief authority to continue an unpopular war.
Thanks to our pal Greg Tinti for the tip.

Proof positive that Rosie wasn’t hired for her intelligence. Lacking that and good looks, one has to wonder why she isn’t flipping burgers for Harold and Komar at White Castle.

So, if we hadn’t gone to Iraq, America would be perfect!

Well the LGF site has gone on luch break again. This is getting to be a daily habit so I thought I would hang out over here for awhile.
So Dems are debating the workding of their suicide notes and the terms of the jizya tax they will pay to the Muslim extremeist we now have people thinking wars are fought based on opinion polls.
I just can’t get the image out of my mind of a bunch of Marines on ships off the coast of Iwo Jima waiting on the results of the latest opinion poll before making the decision of whether to go ahead with the landing or not.
LakeRuins on January 24, 2007 at 12:43 PM
You know, I might question or doubt the rightness of what President Bush is doing for a teeny second if his political enemies weren’t so stupdi, and horrible and shrill.
The more they whine, the more I know we’re doing the right thing, but after 5 years of them doing it, I can’t swear that I won’t lose it and really let them have it!
Enough–Move to France where you’ll have lots to talk about (if only they weren’t too stupid to learn to speak French!)

This woman is an absolute moron whose IQ must be less than the sum of her digits. She does however fit in quite nicely with ABC and the rest of those dolts.

Just today I noticed that there hadn’t been any View clips posted here for awhile. I should have known that Rosie and friends can only go so long without exposing their ignorance. Some thoughts…
Rosie states that the 20,000 surge troops are being “sent to die.” No, the troops are being sent to stablize the situation in Baghdad.
Rosie thinks that the President has had enough chances and that its over and an utter failure. She gives no credit to the positive things that have been accomplished in the country in just 3.5 years time.
Behar should read the constitution. Maybe she will understand that while we live in a democracy, the President has full authority to conduct war. It is not a matter that is specifically put to a vote of the people.
Rosie should read the constitution. Impeachment is not the means by which a President is removed from office due to “unpopular” policies. The framers of the constitution wisely provide a means for that situation: it is called an election.
I think it was Rosie who complained that “democracy is dying.” Is that why we held our mid-term elections on time and that the opposition party won back Congress? Those are funny indications of a dying system.
Rosie, Clinton wasn’t impeached for staining Monica’s dress. He was impeached for perjury etc. You can disagree with the wisdom of the whole impeachment episode, but it did follow the provisions of the Constitution.
Lastly, substitute “Lib” or “Donk” for “Rosie” or “Behar,” the comments still apply.

Right now I think that the Iraqis are too filled with hatred to take advantage of the wonderful opportunity that the overthrow of Saddam gave them. I still think that if Beelzebubba had presided over this, Rosie and the rest of the harpies would be calling for more, more, more firepower.
I am tired of them. Because of the them I can’t watch a TV
show, a movie or read a book without gratuituous Bush bashing and demonizing of conservatives and I am SICK of it!!
Ellen on January 24, 2007 at 12:50 PM
What is worse is the reaction to Rosie’s suggestion. It’s not just her, it’s lots of other folks who just don’t get it
Ennuipundit on January 24, 2007 at 12:50 PM
My opinion is let her howl at the moon – most people realize it is about the ratings now and I don’t think very many people are going to work, church, etc. saying “Did you watch Rosie the other day? Wow she is right.”
I think she is successfully stirring up the more conservative wing of the republican party just to get their goat and make them start sounding like the left wing nutjobs. And it is working to a degree.
My two cents that’s all.
Bradky on January 24, 2007 at 12:53 PM
Hear, Hear…
We are going to be in a lot of trouble if we allow gastro-pod buffoons, like Rosie, to spew her jack-assery all over the airwaves. I think the American people deserve to hear a retort from someone like Bill O’Reilly rather then the meek Elizabeth. Someone needs to stand up against that imbecile.
x95b10 on January 24, 2007 at 12:54 PM
After all Rosie said Christians are more dangerous than Islam. Right. That conversion, dhimmitude or death thingy has escaped the tuna fool.
Anyone remember this little gem? Rosie attacking Tom Selleck on her show. Selleck still does the, “it takes a father to raise a child” PS ads. Can’t blame him.
We should take up a ticket fund. Send Rosie to Saudia Arabia for a month.

Rosie should go on a hunger strike until President Bush is out of office. (How long can human beings live without food if they’re doing the camel thing?)

Every time I watch a clip from “The View” with that ignorant, ugly, stupid troll O’Donnell on it I regret it. The only time I am exposed to such trauma is when I watch a clip from Hot Air – I would not consider watching even a moment otherwise.
I believe this adverse reaction to such an ugly troll has to do not only with her physical appearance, method of expression, and obnoxious behavior but also that her values are so far from mine that I would find more in common with someone from another country than her.
I look forward to when the audience tires of this ugly creature and it fades away from the public view into nothingness.

I didn’t realize Bush …”sent 20,000 more troops to die in Iraq”…Thanks, Rosie, for enlightening me!
She moans and groans about how much the war is costing, and then babbles on about how we should impeach Bush…if only to show the world America is not behind our President…gee, how much would these impeachement hearings cost, Rosie?
How about a hearing letting the world know that Rosie does not speak for Americans?
“Donnnnaaallld, Dooonnnaald?…”

I must take a lot of effort on her part not to just sit there and pound her head on the desk.
On second thought, it must take a lot of effort not to pound Rosie’s head on the desk.
KelliD on January 24, 2007 at 1:11 PM
Elizabeth’s beauty — it’s only skin deep.
Rosie’s ugly — it goes clear to the bone.
Hmmm. Great idea KelliD!
Me thinks pounding Rosie’s face on the desk can ONLY improve her appearance.
CyberCipher on January 24, 2007 at 1:22 PM
Umm.. Rosie, we’re not a democracy. We are a representative democracy. Which means that we elected W to do what he thinks is right within the limits of the law which is exactly what he has done.
csbpublic on January 24, 2007 at 1:26 PM
Hey Behar, it’s called the constitution. I bet the “unpopular war” will seem like Disney on Ice compared to 7th circle of hell that will erupt when we leave, especially prematurely.

Good God is she ugly, inside and out. She’s an all-out ugly assault on the senses.

MCPO, at least the Meerkats have the will to fight their enemies instead of just whining all of the time.I love that show.
bbz123 on January 24, 2007 at 1:45 PM
Exactly. We’ve NEVER been a democracy. We are a republic. Further, neither the courts, nor congress are chartered with setting the course of U.S. foreign policy or with commanding military operations. The President is. Congressional involvement is limited primarily to budgetary matters and to the declaration of war. Trying to run a war by way of “democracy” is a ludicrous concept. Military activities operate under a rigid chain of command for good reasons, viz. to give us a chance to win. Running a war by proxy vote would be the quickest way to lose a war. (What are these nimnuls trying to do? — figure out a way to surrender quicker than the French?)
Admittedly, my understanding of all these concepts is most likely at about the same level as a teenager that attends secondary school (I admit that I’ve never had a burning passion for the study of government) — and yet, I STILL seem to have a better understanding of it than O’Donnell and Behar. Why do we put people so ignorant of basic concepts in front of a national television audience?
Oh, and BTW, Bubba was NOT impeached for having an affair. We shouldn’t let them get away with saying this all of the time. Walters tried to point out that he was impeached for lying under oath. Lying under oath is a crime. I’m not sure anyone could hear Barbara over all the hubbub.

locomotivebreath1901 on January 24, 2007 at 1:56 PM
Rosie, like all the moonbats are suffering from Bush derangement Syndrome. Notice her response to the gal on her left when she said we shouldn’t impeach Bush during a war.
“We impeached Clinton for having an affair”
What an absolute moron she is. Clinton was impeached for lying and she wants to impeach Bush because she doesn’t agree with him.
She is still stinging over the losses in 2000 and 2004. Get over it you stupid fat cow.
csdeven on January 24, 2007 at 1:58 PM
Behar and Rosie operate with a mere 1/4 tsp of intelligence about what they think they know. The rest is loud bluster. Rosie talks over anyone who disagrees with her and then looks smug when the audience claps. I am so tired of them using the word “everyone” to advance their agenda. I think all who are not included in “everyone” should picket their studios. And Rosie’s ignorant “affair” remark at the end, to which Barbara, rightfully, commented about lying, but it was cut off. It’s an old tired record that plays in their heads. Sickening.
Glynn on January 24, 2007 at 2:01 PM
This idiot thinks that an impeachment is ‘to send a message’ that ‘we don’t support his policies’, and that a Senator could ‘call for an impeachment’. Quick Civics lesson for Rosie: There is no mechanism to remove a sitting president simply because of a lack of support for policies he’s pursuing. In order to impeach a president, a majority of the House of Representatives has to agree to Articles of Impeachment, setting forth the High Crimes and Misdemeanors of which they believe he is guilty.
Only after the House has impeached him does a Senator have any say in the matter at all. She sounds about as stupid as O’Reilly complaining about a governor who “didn’t pass” his pet law. Governors don’t pass laws, and Senators don’t impeach presidents.
And this isn’t a democracy, but others have mentioned that already. And Elizabeth should get combat pay.
The Monster on January 24, 2007 at 2:07 PM
You are correct. We are not a democracy, we are a constitutional republic. I blame public schools and the MSM for the ignorance on behalf of the American people. They don’t understand or have been mislead as to what form of gov’t they actually live under.
Our representitive congress voted and passed a resolution giving our president the authority to wage unlimited war on Iraq.
These are the silly little facts that the lefties, the sea cow from Frisco, and the washed up lounge comic absolutely cannot acknowledge for reasons we are all well aware.
Sammy316 on January 24, 2007 at 2:07 PM
The View gets something like 3.5 million viewers. Let’s be generous and say…um….33%? actually buy something that is advertised there…so 1.17 million. That has to support Ba-bas salary but Rosie’s? Not a chance.

georgej on January 24, 2007 at 2:40 PM
MCPO, now that’s just damn funny.
Can I get a drawing of the Rosie and Joy Meerkats for posterior…. I mean posterity.
Our Men and Womne in Iraq are not a bunch of sacrificial anodes sent to die. They are the most lethal and well protected force on Earth. Any time they go up against our enemies, they win. In Iraq they are winning by a count of at least 20 to 1 casualty ratios, unheard of in warfare, unless it is the destruction of whole cities by barbarians.
Rosie and Joy may not have enough knowledge to understand the government and the Constitution. That is because they do not actually care for it. It is their way or the highway. They intend to completely usurp all non Dhimmicratic power in the country and force us to live under one monolithic Hollywood organized government. George Orwell understood this concept very well. 1984 and Animal Farm are the USA of the future under Rosie, Joy, and the Dhimmicrats.
Don’t let them reach their goal. The life you save may be your own.

Bingo! Nice to see that I am not alone. Someone is thinking the same thoughts. The next thing ya’ know, they’ll be using those giant 300″ video consoles (see adjacent post from yesterday) to lead all of us in the daily “GROUP HATE” chant. I think I know who they’ll be hating too. I won’t be the Jihadists, it’ll be conservatives/Christians. Just exactly like in Orwell’s 1984. That’s where O’Donnell and Behar want to lead us. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’d vastly prefer death over living under those kind of circumstances. Some things are worth dying for. Our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan know this. Human refuse like O’Donnell and Behar don’t.
Boycott ABC. Boycott their affiliates. Send e-mails. Write letters. Serve notice.

Same old argument…”he just had an affair.” No Rosie, Clinton perjured himself, obstructed justice, used his presidential power to intimidate others, etc, etc. Not to mention 10 or so other documented abuses (Travelgate etc). The “hero” of the left! Shocking coming from a loud mouth, fat, obnoxious, “look at me I’m gay” freak whose days on air are numbered. I’ve never seen one second of that show and each clip I see here from Hot Air gets more and more ridiculous. I don’t know maybe it’s just a ratings game.

She is so sad. What a waste. She was cute and funny once. She was popular and bouncy and seemingly normal, and important (in TV terms). Shame she couldn’t prevent the flameout cognitive meltdown. It’s like watching the slow progression into madness of a pointless, self-absorbed royal whose circle will not contradict or intervene out of deference or fear…or fascination with the process.
She’s so out of her depth. She’s not very intelligent, but she’s so self-important and self-referential that she imagines herself to be. It is pitiful. And the only people she influences are those of similar stupidity. Everybody else is embarrassed by her. Even smart Liberals – I take it on faith that some DO exist.
