Like I was saying, the party of the blue collar/little guy/poor minorities holding high dollar fundraisers (where said supporters don’t have a chance in hell to set foot in the door).

The point, honora, is that the Dems are a party full of elitist snobs that don’t see themselves as part of the “collective” (or peasants). Tell the peasants what they want to hear – that way, they vote for you.

Why they’re thinking they wanna control all those “little people out there in the dark!”
They try to control our minds, thoughts and desires with their loathesome movies and if they can get their “boy” (or girl) in the White House, even better, although Obama and Hillary are going to need to a lot more than this.

Then again, they did make the mistake of hiring one of the few bands who are older than they are and expecting younger folks to attend. Heck, in Hollywood, etc. even the middle aged are trying to act (and look) like teeny-boppers! Which for some is sort of hard when you have Keith Richards syndrome going for you facially. And then there is that "small" matter of price. Wait until this time - I'll bet the bands are younger (and hipper), the prices (depending on where the fund-raiser is held) lower, and the winning act of Hillabama sweeping first place. At least out of the convention. Then again, anything is possible in Hollywood!

Heh, this trio will give to all who come to Hollywood. It’s early. They’re covering all bases.

Just back from a bus. trip to Hollywood. What a strange place. The hotels of many stars don’t even have C-Span or Fox, only CNN and the alphabets, even though they do have cable…all non-leftie numbers blocked out. The other half can suffer, but pay the high prizes nonetheless. Therefore, the before/after SotU commentaries were insufferable.

I read there’s a new sit-com in the works starring Patricia Heaton and Kelsey Grammer. Because they are big name stars high salary assumption was hypothesized. The article didn’t say it would ruin the show, just an observation it would be expensive.

Question: Can two Republicans share a show together and not drive Hollywood crazy?

They don’t think they need the triangulation of Clinton. If you watched MSNBC on election night you would have heard Matthews and Olberdouche talking about how the Dem’s victory was a signal to veer hard to the left.

Getting back to the serious, I’m actually starting to believe the Dems no longer believe they need the triangulation of Clinton to make 2008 their year. Never mind that it was the male half of that team that was the master triangulator. Never mind that, without the new “moderate” ‘Rats (who, without exception, made that expected hard turn left upon arriving in DC), they wouldn’t officially have the Senate.

The minimum price, with inferior concert seats and no brunch, was set at $60,000 (£31,000). But with many rich Democrats sending their regrets, The Mail on Sunday can reveal that last Wednesday the Clintons drastically slashed prices to $12,500 (£6,500) for one reception and the concert, or $5,000 (£2,600) for just the Stones.

The Hollywood star-making machine is notorious for turning their backs on such “has-been” celebs like Hillary – sooo yesterday’s news, you know.

But Obama, this hot, young, new star’s career has “legs” that Hillary can only envy from afar. Plus with his history of recreational drug use, he’s so much more “one of them” than Hillary “open marriage” Clinton could ever be. Besides, she voted FOR the war, you know.

Sweet. First we see SNL mocking her, now Hollyweird takes over. Looks like a lefty trend to me. It was Hollyweird that helped Billy Jeff get in the White House which makes this all very ironic. I can’t wait to see Shrillary and Obama in a grudge match. It will wind up making the Republican candidate so much more appealing.
