Honestly, the man has no shame: Even in Carter’s long history of post-presidential grandstanding, this book sets fresh standards of irresponsibility. Purporting to give a balanced view of the Palestinian–Israeli conflict, Carter effectively shrugs …

It is like the 60 Minutes segment years ago – State Delegates from KY were taking $100&$200 bribes to pass off track betting legislation and were caught on tape by the FBI – there defense – we were going to vote for it anyway.

Growing up my family did not have much and therefore me and most of my friends did not get an allowance. Well there was one kid in our “hood” that got $5/week. We really did not like him too much but in the 60’s $5 bought a lot of burgers. AND his family belonged to a Country Club- so Marc would take us there on Saturdays for a beggars banquet! Marc just wasn’t cool – but we let him hang with us for obvious reasons. We acted like he was our friend and the money was secondary – sometimes I would actually believe this lie. But on the outside every one knew what was up and in my heart I knew the truth.

Of course looking back – this is something I am not too proud of. But it did teach me a lesson. When the chicken/egg question comes up in situations like Carters – the answer is THE MONEY COMES FIRST – self deceit may have him acting like he really believes what he says – but deep down inside he knows what he is. And 300 million buys plenty of freakin hamburgers these days.

Just look at all of the Dems flying to the Middle East now meeting with all of the same “leaders” that just happen to get a pretty big allowance! You can be sure the same names will be popping up on their foundation lists just Like Carters and Billarys.

Where are all of the liberal pundits, they all love Carter.

I don’t think they bother reading any of the anti-Carter posts – it makes them mad to hear the right-wing nuts going off on their Nobel leader.

No puzzle at all. Carter is a blatant liar, hates Israel and loves money for his hate rhetoric.
His lone objective now is to try to repair his ruined name by throwing everything possible at it…TOO LATE.

You made me curious too. From the NY Sun:

A spokesman for the Saudi Embassy said it was still trying to gather information about the donation that the Clinton library said it received from the Saudi royal family. The library also received gifts estimated at $1 million or more each from three Saudi businessmen.

Definitely worth reading for all of the Clinton / Saudi links, if nothing else.
