Our first O’Reilly plug. And it only took nine months and a trip to Baghdad to get it.

The boss got about a minute for Iraq, then it was time to take the senator from New York up on her offer to “talk … chat … start a dialogue.” The icebreaker: How come nobody likes you?

I’m waiting for the day that this segment is guest-hosted by Julie Banderas.

Enrique on January 22, 2007 at 10:07 PM

First; Michelle is the most gorgeous pundit on TV.

Second; Michelle is right.

What more can I say?

Lawrence on January 22, 2007 at 10:13 PM

What the heck happened to KP? She looks like she came off a 3 day bender…Normally she’s coiffed within an inch of her life…I don’t know..she looked frazzled. Did Howard Dean offer her a trip to his Democrat reeducation camp again?

Yeah, and have the segment be about Shirley Phelps-Roper… that should be fun. :-)

I can’t wait until the first real attack on Obama by another Democrat is called….RACIST!

*popcorn ready*

SouthernGent on January 22, 2007 at 10:47 PM

It is noteworthy that KP was only willing to concede that it is the extreme left element of the Democratic party that doesn’t like HillBillary. IF she was actually correct it would shake the HotAir trolls to their core, since that would mean that I am a “far left” kinda’ guy.

And be sure to measure it against all the truly racist comments coming out of the left toward Condi Rice. Obama will get softballs by comparison.

Whoa, back-up. I don’t watch much TV. You saying she normally looks even better than that? Because, I’ve got to tell you, I’ve got no complaints.

Obama will get softballs by comparison.

Don’t bet the farm on that. Maybe Hitlery won’t go racist — but only because she’s smart enough to weigh the risks of getting caught. But, one way or another the kid will be politically knee-capped.

kace on January 23, 2007 at 12:40 AM

I think Hillary’s camp will exploit Obama’s admitted drug use in the past.

Glynn on January 23, 2007 at 12:53 AM

Hillary is going to come face to face with the fact that people were only behind her because they saw her as a Bill Clinton proxy, but as time passes they are learning that she is not.

- The Cat

P.S. This is why Bush 41 had such a hard time of it, because he was no Ronald Reagan.

You are right, but I think her team (not her, as her arrogance will probably not allow her to) will realize that, if they haven’t already. They will then put Bubba out there campaigning hard - making sure the people know that he will play a very big part in her presidency.

Potestas Democraticorum delenda est!

georgej on January 23, 2007 at 1:50 AM

PS — Everybody knows that KP worked for the Clintons, right?

georgej on January 23, 2007 at 1:51 AM

I think we’re going to find that Hillary has a huge support team that includes an incredibly vicious hit squad.

She will crush Obama, it will look like an accident but he doesn’t stand a chance and won’t know what hit him until it’s too late.

RIP…Obama and anyone else who stands in her way.

Speakup on January 23, 2007 at 2:03 AM

Michelle - can’t you do a Vent where you and Kirsten just have a candid conversation about left vs right? That would be SO interesting to watch.

Especially if its in a wading pool full of jello…just sayin.

I would pay BIG money to see a debate between Julie Banderas and Michelle Malkin vs Hillary Clinton and Susan Estrich.

DoctorDentons on January 23, 2007 at 7:45 AM

“she brings out the worst in people”

Explains a lot.

When did smirking become ok when discussing serious political issues? Just askin.

The Webb crew cast the mold for this one. The Hildebeast crew will trail Obama with video cameras. They capture him saying a strange word. 3 days later, after no mention in the press, their paid bloggers will make a Wikipedia entry that defines the word as a racial slur. Or in this case, a lesbian slur.

Then the Washington Post will run the Word Story on the front page for at elast a month. Hill, being a stateswoman and above the fray, will not even have to comment on the incident, or the actions of her staff.

Results are guaranteed.

I understand the reason for these statements…..MM and KP’s beauty is lost on none of us. I don’t know them, but I appreciate them for their contributions to American society and I am sure that these statements are not appreciated by them nor their families.

Just sayin.

honora on January 23, 2007 at 9:45 AM

Around the same time as getting a bj from the intern while discussing national security I guess.

brtex on January 23, 2007 at 11:02 AM

Anyway, back on topic…

It was great to see Bill give MM some time, but it seems pretty selfish that he wont give her a lot more time to share her experiences. Especially since her appearences on Bill’s show makes the show a better one. I think he owes her more than 1 minute.

csdeven on January 23, 2007 at 11:05 AM

This was a nice segment, Michelle.

csdeven is correct about Bill needing to give Michelle more time about her being in Iraq (it should have been a one-on-one interview). Michelle’s presence ALWAYS enhances Bill’s program (and, of course, it is nice to see Kirsten).

BTW-Michelle, I heard you on WABC-Radio’s RELIGION ON THE LINE. Nice job there, too.

The False Dervish on January 23, 2007 at 11:09 AM

KP allowed as how the far left Dems dislike Hillary, to which MM responded that they rule the roost in the primaries. KP frowned at that. I suggest that she contact Joe Lieberman for further information.

The Monster on January 23, 2007 at 11:25 AM

Can’t Michelle just bite the bullet and run for office? How cool would that be… Ah, to dream…

Sacwannabe on January 23, 2007 at 11:44 AM

I STILL think Hillary is behind Obama.

Right now, its a 2 person race. What happens when O Boy drops out? Who does that leave smellin’ like a rose?

O Boy will drop out when he has scared off any other challengers to Hillary.

She shot Michelle a look that seemed to say ‘We’ll see about that’, and we certainly will during the course of the campaign. Somehow, I just don’t see a ‘truce’ being brokered for the hardcore nutjobs to get on board.

Hillary could definitely do worse in terms of an advocate than Kirsten, no doubt, when you think of some of the ‘others’ out there.

Readymade on January 23, 2007 at 1:13 PM

The thing I like most about Michelle, KP, Ham and the rest of the gang is that they can have constructive discourse with out becoming these shrill maniacal talking heads. I hope this is the future of political debate in this country. The current trend is so divisive I fear we may be killing ourselves and not even know it. (and you thought I was going to comment on how hot they are)
