He’s up for reelection in ‘08 in a state that’s trending blue and with Mark Warner lurking in the shadows.

Mark Warner is only one of the problems John Warner faces. Virgina is trending blue mainly due to the population growth in Northern Va. The “DC” corridor is solidly blue and growing.

J. Warner’s history come ’08. He’s already pissed off the red “flyover” country here in Va., will probably piss off the Norfolk area military vote with this move, and the northern “blue-belt” dems won’t vote for him under any circumstances.
