Nah. The joke was that Hillary wanted to cut into Obama’s support. By taking credit for bringing home the troops as his poll numbers went up, she’d be increasing her standing with the anti-war base. It was the part about if Obama dropped out then the troops could stay, was a bit incongruous with the rest of her message, though.

I didn’t think it was funny either. Just looked to me like SNL going all Margaret Cho on us.

I thought it was hillaryous because they nailed Hillary for so many things: Her forced, insincere laughter; her wanting to know the questions in advance; her claiming to be part-Jewish when she ran in New Yawk in 2000; her reputation for screaming and swearing a blue streak when challenged; her insincere support for the war and her seemingly life-long presidential ambitions.

Amy doesn’t have Hillary’s Illinois accent don’t pat, but she nailed the line, “Jimminy Cricket!”. Good stuff.

They’re completely abandoning comedy in favor of political sermonizing.

The left is so deranged that they think SNL is the place to create Teachable Moments.
