The Brits have had the Apache for at least ten years. They’ve recently been upgraded to Longbows. There are about eight foreign countries that have the Apache now. Shoot, even Saudi has it.

We had a pilot go down during Desert Storm. An Apache swooped in and he climbed on the wing and they flew him out.

The Apache is an awe inspiring aircraft. I’m sure you’ve heard of the 400 Iraqi ground troops surrendering to a single Apache during Desert Storm.

We’re upgrading it again over the next few years to an even more fearsome fighter.

I didn’t know we sold Apaches to the Brits. I though that only Israel got those and that the Brits flew the Linx.

We dont. Specially not the Long Bow model. That there is a US Army AH-64D been flown by a US Army aviator. Talk about joint operations!

If any of OUR troops did that, it would probably be looked upon as some type of failure by our military, another example that we cannot win this war, receive negative press by the MSM, and God knows what else!

The only way the MSM would show something like this about American Marines is if one of them was picked off the wing by a sniper.

It is a bit sad that so many stories of valor go untold because it runs against the perception of the war that the MSN wants to portray.
