Kurtz did a good job with the intro so I won’t bother with background. You might remember “guerrilla tactics” aficionado Stark from Campaign ‘06, where he shoved his way past George Allen’s handlers to ask the senator if he’d ever spat on his ex-wife before being wrestled to the ground. He’s also “famous” for popping up behind Alan Colmes, live on the air at Ned Lamont campaign headquarters, with a sign reading, “Hannity Sucks Ass.” Which, let us admit, is funny, but tends to undermine the sincerity of his despair over America’s deteriorating political discourse. Click here for a screencap.
As you’ll see, Dan went right at him. Well done, sir. My only quibble is that Stark got away with suggesting that the attempted poisoning of Supreme Court justices (all nine, mind you, not just the liberals) was somehow inspired by Ann Coulter’s repulsive “joke” about poisoning Justice Stevens. It’s a lie and a smear, but as my least favorite left-wing blogger is wont to say, “That’s who they are and that’s what they do.”
Update: Dan has a post up about the segment and says he’s sorry he didn’t ask Stark if he’s sorry for never having spat on his wife.

Mike was hard to watch with all his stumbling and bumbling his way through the whole segment. He just repeated the question and tried to sound intelligent, but came off like a Freshman down at the local coffee house expounding (see, I know some $10 words, too) on subjects he knows nothing about. Please. Whining about conservative speech is so 90’s.

wow…
How can I describe this?
Mike Stark Came off as, Wormy? (glances through thesaurus)
Fawning? Smarmy? Snively? Sycophantic?
Smarmy….
Yes, that’s the one. He combined being hypocritical with sucking up to the host so blatantly that the host actually remarked about it.
Smarmy.

Notice the projection of ” let these people keep talking so that all of America can see how unhinged they are”
I am sure that you could find a few unhinged people in any given group, however if you look at the sheer volume of wacky left-wing rants, and the spectrum of them, one might come to certain conclusions.

“…reasonable people like you and me.”
What?
Stark,
What kind of “reasoning” are you referring to that makes you “reasonable” and superior to those whose speech you either disagree with, or you distort, fabricate, and misrepresent then disagree with your new, abridged, or altered version?
Also, Stark, you say that the content of the sign you were carrying that stated “Hannity sucks ass” is true. How do you know that it is true?
Did Hannity suck your ass?
Did Hannity suck anyone’s ass?
Whose ass did Hannity suck?
If you cannot prove your claim, then is that because you are lying and Hannity does not suck ass?”
If you just made it up and it is not true that “Hannity sucks ass” tnen you lied. If you did lie, and it appears that you did, and Hannity does not suck ass, then are you going to come out and admit that it is not true and that you lied and that Hannity does not suck ass?
This whole he said something I find offensive, she said something I find offensive trash talk is nuts! The conservatives who make outrageous statements put their own foot in their mouth and they must pay the consequence of their actions. We don’t need to defend them.
Nevertheless, the leftists DO get a free pass on outrageous comments and actions, including the absurd call to mob action to go and kill Conservative congressmen, the absurd call to assassinate the president, the absurd call to US military personnel blow up and murder their own commanding officers, and so on.
The left, fifth columnists get a free pass on these absurd, vile, malicious calls to violent, indecent behavior.

“Mike Stark sucks ass.” Too bad that banner wasn’t up whenever Start was on camera. It would have served him right.
He likes to dish it out, but he doesn’t like to take it.
Riehl had it right when he wrote: “never send a guy who looks and sounds like he beats off to do a beat down.”
Okay, I’m off the watch DA-BEARS beat the Saints. ;^)

The longer this goes on the more dangerous the left becomes. It’s amazing to me that they’re openly calling for the destruction of the First amendment while that’s what they use to spew all kinds of henious hatred.
Free speech … so long as you’re liberal.

Stark looked so proud to be an idiot who holds up little signs talking about ass.

Eliminationist rhetoric? The left has been fantasizing about killing conservatives and Republicans for the past 6 years, and they want to preach about eliminationist rhetoric?

He can’t figure out who Spocko is but he could come up with a list of gay republicans that are closeted.

Strangest segment, when Stark said that he and Mr. Kurtz are the “reasonable” people.
Mr. Kurtz said that the “woman drank something like 7 gallons of water”.
