U.S. Officers told us nothing happened at Haditha. And what about what they had to say about Jessica Lynch, or Pat Tillman? The toppling of the Hussein statue anyone? What about Fallujah? Have you forgotten what U.S. officers had to say about events there? White phosphorus, cluster bombs, napalm ring any bells?

When Mrs Malkin admits to being nothing more than an apologist and mouthpiece for the government will be when I have found the moment I’ve been waiting for.

For the sake of clarity, I wish to state my comment yesterday about blasting a hole in the AP referred to their credibility and in no way should be taken literally. Any reference to firing at them was meant as, with criticism. I don’t want my meaning twisted, and will watch the metaphors in the future.

The left does not apologize, just read the left wing bloggers on HA. When caught in a lie, or a mistake, they run and hide. I have never seen one left wing blogger admit they are wrong. They don’t have to, they just walk away from the computer, and post another day. The MSM does the same, we don’t hold their feet to the fire, and they just post another day.

Excellent work by Michelle and Bryan.
AP however, will continue making up their news as long as they have customers – all those local newspapers and radio stations who buy their product. Here is where the absence of a rational, reasonably fair wire service is really hurting the country. There is no alternative for papers who want to provide national and international news. Letters to the editor, cancelling subscriptions, demanding equal time, unless the papers are swamped with such complaints, they’ll still buy AP past-the-shelf-date product. The internet isn’t widespread enough yet to compensate.

For the record, I steadfastly claimed scandal as this story vacillated back and forth. (As did many here.) As the honorable georgej said, "what do we do about it." I intend to measure the coverage going forward against the MSM's reporting of JH's existence and our supposed table-setting of crow. I expect FNC to cover this as a way of backing up their "gauntlet throwing" adds. Talk radio needs to get on this next week. (My money's on Medved.) Rush needs to blast away. Hugh Hewitt is a lock. Then they all need to slap in a full magazine, release the slide, and continue blasting until the AP looks like the USS Cole after a pit stop in Yemen. Only then is there a chance the AP will attempt a face-saving, half-hearted, non-retraction. Then and only then will the MSM even consider reporting a heavily spun version of the quasi-truth.

We all know that the associate press and Reuters LIES. We all know that that New York Times and the Washington Post LIES. We know that most of the media lies; that it is deliberate and that it has a purpose.

We know why, too.

Michelle and Bryan are “preaching to the choir” here.

The question is WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT IT?

You bloggers continue to catch them in their lies, even though Michelle and Bryan had to go to Iraq to prove it. Are they liars going to retract now? Nope. They will just ignore this the way they ignore EVERYTHING that exposes their agenda. In other words, who, besides us, is ever going to know the truth?

What’s the next step?

Part of me says that unless we convince the American people of how badly these leftists at the Ministry of Propaganda (The Times, Post, AP, Reuters, CBS, NBC, CNN, etc.) are deceiving America, we will not only lose the war on terrorism, but America itself.

Look, WE ARE NOT EVER GOING TO GET THE MEDIA TO ADMIT THAT THEY ARE DELIBERTELY LYING. And they are deliberately lying; they KNOW that Jamill doesn’t exist. They KNOW that mosques were not destroyed. They KNOW that they are being used as conduits by our enemies. How do we (1) get the American people to repudiate the MSM? (2) get the MSM to stop lying, (3) get the truth out to the millions of people who listen to the networks, read the Times, TIME Mag, etc., and haven’t the slightest clue that they have been deliberately lied to for partisan political reasons?

How do we get the message across that the American people are being lied to by the press? Waiting for viewership/circulation numbers to tank (which is happening, but slowly) is going to take much too long.
