Such assertions – if they were true (and they’re not) – would mean that the 3,000 plus who have given their lives there have died for ‘no reason’ aka “their lives were wasted.” I have argued at this blog numerous times that these Democrats, many of whom have known since before Bush was President that Saddam was considered by the US gov’t as a threat to this country, are using irresponsible and dangerous defeatist rhetoric, that serves to negatively influence opinions about the war at home and abroad, hurt troop morale, and worst of all: encourage the enemy. I’m not the only one who has made this argument – prominent pundits have, and so have members of Congress on the floors of the House and Senate respectively. Still, the “wasted lives” argument persists. [...]

Not your imagination – either Sawyer was genuinely baffled or they forgot to turn on the TelePrompter
and she was forced to attempt spontaneous interviewing, which is a bit harder than simply reading what others write for “her” points.

Either way – priceless.

The debate will go on for years as to right or wrong – either way, our warfighters need our continued prayers and support. Without them there is no us, collectively and as a nation.

I don’t know, but you can definitely see where the tapers missed a spot around the curve of her nose. You can see the drywall right through the paint.

Seriously, she’s had so much plastic surgery, she has damaged her facial muscles so that her only facial expression is perpetually surprised. (and no, they did not die in vain – most every Iraqi has had a ‘taste’ of democracy and freedom. That is not a small thing nor something lightly forgotten even if we pull out. Of course its better if we don’t pull out!)

I emailed Pelosi, but got this in return.

“If you are not a resident of Califoria’s 8th Congressional District and are contacting me in regard to my role as speaker, please email me at AmericanVoices@mail.house.gov.”

I emailed her and voiced my displeasure at her comments concerning Cpl Dunham and her accusations of President Bush. I realize it wont do much good because the moonbats will be emailing her professing their undying admiration for her traitorous acts. But, it makes me feel better.

Mort Kondracke seems to think the dems plan is to get the troops out of Baghdad and train the Iraqi army to provide security. They foolishly created a “plan” that covers their political bases by “protecting” our troops by pulling them out of harms way and “fixes” the security issues by dumping it into the fledgling Iraqi’s armys lap.

Again, more fluff and no substance from the dems.

Nothing pisses me off more than this “it’s Bush’s war” bullcrap. It’s not “Bush’s war.” It’s all of ours. If it goes wrong and Iraq becomes a haven for jihadists, it doesn’t effect just Republicans; it effects every single American.

And that Nancy Pelosi is willing to play that card only proves that she sees the Iraq war as nothing more than a vehicle for her to score political points against the president.
