Donald Trump appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show last night and asked Kimmel to stop being so mean to, er, Rosie O’Donnell. Then he called her “disgusting” and said she’s “not a very popular person.”
Update: First, a huge hat tip to Debbie Schlussel for alerting me. Second, put down anything you’re drinking before you watch this:

Kimmel is the only thing standing between me and Sarah Silverman.
He must beware the shover robot.

Kimmel is a riot.

Wow. I guess AP really has decided to quit following the Rosie Trump war if he lets himself get scooped by Ian on something like this.
I mean ordinarily, AP is the King of All “View” Related Products.

Ian:
You left out the very, very best part of Jimmy’s conversation with Trump. He shows Trump a video of a “Rosie” lookalike and her “dilemma”: She stands atop a building in Hollywood while Donald gets his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She’s eating a bucket of giant meatballs. She has clear aim of Donald, but loves meatballs. Does she spare a meatball so she can hit Donald with it, or does she eat the meatball? What does she do? You can figure it out. It’s hilarious. Please, Ian, post that part of the Trump/Kimmel conversation.

I already liked Schluessel’s writing, it is nice to also know her sense of humor is great too.
That was hilarious!

Honestly, I’m not a fan of Rosie O’Donnell, but I hate this mud slinging that’s going on. Trump is not very classy at all – if he’s so far above her why are his comments so low? Honestly – he’s making comments about her appearance. What, like he’s some sexy beast himself?
I dunno. I’m just not liking either of them at all.

Yes, but he said it with a smile; oh so very Cicero.
