I guess they’re not ready for paradise themselves yet.

You’re going to ask an obvious question after you watch this. The answer, I assume, is that they kept his ID when they let him go and told him if he didn’t follow their instructions, his family would pay. CNN should have specified that, but oh well.

I wonder how common this is.

Update: See-Dub notes that this isn’t exactly breaking news.

This is new? Only to CNN….

jeffshultz on January 17, 2007 at 6:26 PM

Wolf, it’s old. Even Ace had it.

see-dubya on January 17, 2007 at 6:36 PM

Old or new, maybe some people learned about it today that didn’t know before. And CNN running anything negative about the jihadis is news in and of itself.

bdfaith on January 17, 2007 at 6:48 PM

These mass murderers must go.

Mojave Mark on January 17, 2007 at 6:49 PM

So, how exactly, does the left defend this?

variation of honor killing, but they get to die with ‘respect’ and its news to CNN who I’m sure had to be brought kicking and screaming into this story

Defector01 on January 17, 2007 at 6:54 PM

I guess they’re not ready for paradise themselves yet.

As bad as those stinking mullahs who demand their followers fight to the death and disappear when their chance for Martyrdom comes. Obviously they do not believe what they preach.

jman on January 17, 2007 at 7:08 PM

I’m not sure I believe it. This is The religion of peace we’re talking about now.

darwin on January 17, 2007 at 7:09 PM

It’s like last year, when the jihadis were using the retarded and Down’s syndrome folks to be “martyrs”.

F*ckers…..

Kill them all when we catch them. Trials be damned…

I know we can’t do that; sometimes it sucks to be the good guys…

Somewhere else–I think this may have been Ace’s as well–I read that they doped their suicide bombers up on ketamine to get them to go through with this, and some other stuff (PCP?) that made them feel bulletproof. If you don’t have the real kind of courage, then get it from a needle.

(No booze, though!)

see-dubya on January 17, 2007 at 7:13 PM

A little off topic, but I’ve noticed that CNN has put a temporary “hold” on its daily Global Warming stories. Apparently, they’re not very convincing next to the daily Ice Storm stories. How long before they find a way to blame Global Warming for the Ice Storm?

Jihadi warriors heroically forcing civilians to commit suicide bombings

So they’re soldiers now?

JasonG on January 17, 2007 at 7:14 PM

RedWinged – I’m in LA and it’s cold (well, for LA anyway). Record lows. The story in these parts [and I'm only moderately sure that they are joking] is that, as the polar ice caps melt, the water cools the ocean which then lowers the temperature.

See, The Global Warming machine has an answer for everything.

Of course, they can’t explain why the water level of the ocean hasn’t risen, but that’s beside the point.

I still can’t look at Wolf Blitzer any more and not picture him in a dress…………..

PinkyBigglesworth on January 17, 2007 at 7:36 PM

There is a breaking story here:

A CNN commentator just said “trying like most people here to avoid the violence”. I think that is news to anyone who has been watching CNN

Resolute on January 17, 2007 at 7:43 PM

Of course, they can’t explain why the water level of the ocean hasn’t risen, but that’s beside the point.

That’s easy. All the fish head south toward warmer water, so the rise in water levels is offset by reduced displacement. I was a technical advisor for Algore’s movie.

RedWinged Blackbird on January 17, 2007 at 7:47 PM

Ahhhh, the Religion of Peace.
It’s all Bush’s fault.

mountainmanbob on January 17, 2007 at 7:49 PM

They must be using the same trainers as the kamakazee pilots. The trainers never die.

right2bright on January 17, 2007 at 8:43 PM

Sad, very sad. Are both Sunni and Shite engaging in these tactics or is it just one side? Who is behind this?

omegaram on January 17, 2007 at 9:36 PM

Did this run on CNN recently? If so, I find it so helpful to get my news 4 months after the fact. With today’s technology I just hate it when CNN features stuff that actually happened in the last 24 hours.

Oh cry me a freakin’ RIVER! Who gives a f*ck? Another dead Muslim, sounds like progress to me. And if you think I buy this “It’s boobytrapped” garbage, you got another think coming. Level the place and put up a Mickey D’s is what I say.

It’s amazing how the wife with the hijab can only show her mouth. If Muhammad said “give her a flat-top so you can stick a beer on it”. Things might be different with the war on terror.

Islam: Religion of Peace
Islam: It’s a blast!

Ask your doctor if Islam is right for you.

Side effects include: sodomy, disfigurement, wife beating, kid raping, beheading, stoning, involuntarily screaming “Jihad”, bed wetting, and sexual confusion.

Interesting that this report was filed by Arwa Damon. She’s the one who came forward with a sympathetic report on the Haditha Marines.

I cant “DIGG IT” on digg.com…I don’t know if it’s blocked because its from HOTAIR or what.

Anyone else try to digg this? Or any other hotair article?

It wont allow me, after I try , it says :
Oops, what you’re looking for isn’t here!
The page you requested is not here but there are a few things you can try: (there is nothing to try.)

shooter on January 18, 2007 at 4:01 PM

I tried a search for HOTAIR and received this bs:

Digg is experiencing a high volume of traffic right now. Please try your search again later.

But I can ‘digg’ other articles…..

Michelle, AP, Bryan…are you guys seeing this?
I think their doing it again, the “youtube” or “AP” treatment of blocking MM and HA.
