I don’t see any crying on this thread. The Saints played an excellent game and the Eagles played a mediocre game without their starting QB. Despite this, the Saints still could not crush them.

I think the majority of Eagles fans are proud of what they accomplished this year. Year in and year out the Eagles seem to rise from the ashes. Next year will be no different.

After cooling down from Saturday night, I have to agree. After the way the season fell apart last year, another 6-10 record would have put the franchise into a tailspin. Winning the division after losing our best offensive and defensive players, and outlasting the Cowboys and Giants in the playoffs makes it a pretty good year, and there is plenty to build on for next season.

Anyone see LT score this year(you had to, he did it thirty plus times)? What does he do? Hands the ball to the ref and goes to the sidelines. How refreshing is that, a guy acting like he’s been there before…..

Don’t blame LT for the low-rent, low-class attitudes of his team-mates…………..

the new LT and you failed to mention the times when the Chargers pulled this crap on other teams 50 yard line this year by their “suspended for drugs” loser. So what goes around, comes around. Can’t take it LT and the loser Chargers, don’t dish it out. You can watch the rest of the season from home with the Eagles and Cowboys.

I haven’t seen good hits like that since The Waterboy.

The Pats Chargers game showed allot of no class on both teams. Head-butting a player after the play is dead comes to mind.

Dancing on the field so you get penalized for it also rings a bell.

In the end it was a very sloppy game that the Chargers lost and the Pat’s did not win.

I expected more from the Pats frankly.

I hope next week the Pats will refrain from some of the actions displayed on the field yesterday.

I say this as a Pats fan BTW.

Us Saints fans have been waiting about 4 decades for them to get this far. We played a mediocre game, Brees was not playing his A game, and our defense and Deuce won the game. We had some eagle gumbo, had a few brews, and passed a good time cher….

In all honesty,even if we get to Miami and are able to but the slap down on Brady, the politics will not change. We know how to have some fun down here, but I am guessing that even Satan is envious of how corrupt our politicians are….

I am taking a similar but different tack. Let’s have the Saints win the superbowl so that the “NOLA/Katrina-how good this is for the region” story will be complete and played out. Then we don’t have to hear about if for the next two or three years.

As for the Reggie Bush hit: that was a decleating to warm John Madden’s heart.

I hope Urlacher does the same thing next week, because if the Saints make it to the Superbowl we’re going to have to sit through four hours of pre-game Katrina crap and Bush bashing.
