The GOP gets a Senate seat in Tennessee and centrist Democrats get a young, exciting spokesman whose popularity they can exploit to try to lead the party out of Nutrootsistan.
I love it when things work out.

Seriously. The GOP had a major opportunity to make inroads into the Black vote. Instead they court illegals and their sympathizers. They seem hellbent on fracturing the base.

Don’t be fooled. On the surface he looks “Obama” cool, but I live in Tennessee and he is a liberal and he is dirty just like his family. But admittedly compared to “the Screamer” he is much better.
That said, the MsM will love him. It’ll go right along with Obama.
Why, oh WHY, couldn’t the GOP have gone with Michael Steele instead of “let-all-the-illegals-get-asylum” Martinez?
