Iraqslogger proudly presents … Ted Rall

posted at 8:52 pm on January 11, 2007 by Allahpundit

They’re trumpeting it as an exclusive so I have to assume they’re proud.

Only two possibilities as to why Eason Jordan would sink this low.

1. He’s signaling to the left his desire to atone for the sins of (a) conversing politely with Michelle Malkin and (b) questioning a dubious, thinly sourced AP report about an atrocity that the New York Times, among others, couldn’t substantiate but which happily made the Bushitler’s Jew-funded crusader rodeo of aggressive occupation appear negligibly more disastrous.

2. He thinks Ted Rall is funny.

I actually hope it’s number 1.

OOOoooohh, WMD jokes, not enough troop jokes, “spreading democracy” jokes, Ted Rall, on the comedic cutting edge of 2007.
Mr. Rall sir, You. Are. On. Fire.

I mean WOW. Just Wow.
Comedy Gold has been struck again.

billy on January 11, 2007 at 9:01 PM

Most of Rall’s work is vicious, mean spirited and disgusting. Granted. But that actually made me laugh. I think most of us in the conservative movement, if we’re really honest about it, can relate to Charlie Brown trying to kick the football in that cartoon. For once, Ted Rall actually hit it out of the park.

John on January 11, 2007 at 9:02 PM

Ted, is that you?

Allahpundit on January 11, 2007 at 9:04 PM

Looks like something I would have drawn up during my high school lunch-time, back when I was an immature little punk who oh so smugly thought he knew everything. At least some of us grow up….

RW Wacko on January 11, 2007 at 9:10 PM

You gotta admit AP, it doesn’t matter how many times you hear them, these jokes never, ever, ever, get old do they?
No need for anything new and creative, just dip into the ol’ Bush-is-a-moron-no-WMD well.

billy on January 11, 2007 at 9:10 PM

Ted made you laugh by stealing, oops, improvising on Charles Schultz’s creation?
Snoopy’s food bowl is funnier than Rall on his own.

bbz123 on January 11, 2007 at 9:11 PM

Actually I think the comics are funny. If not for the obvious Jew baiting. I’m no fan of Israel influenced foreign policy (c’mon we know their is a societal lobby in this country) but I detest race bating. If the left has a real problem with Jews come out and say so, open it up to debate and let the chips fall where they may.

Theworldisnotenough on January 11, 2007 at 9:11 PM

Ted Rall is pondscum.

JammieWearingFool on January 11, 2007 at 9:14 PM

He included an apology to Charles Schulz, but none to the one who really deserves it: the reader.

Jim Treacher on January 11, 2007 at 9:15 PM

Ted, is that you?

Heh. Ted has a douchebag that he has painted a little face on, and he stuffs his hand up there pretends it talks. He calls it John.

Ted Rall: inventor of the douchebag puppet.

Jaibones on January 11, 2007 at 9:16 PM

When last seen, Rall was talking about the coming concentration camps. I wonder how those are coming along?

JammieWearingFool on January 11, 2007 at 9:17 PM

Ted the idiot had his best interview last year. It was
with Hannity Sean ripped him a new one. It was
a beautiful thing.

Texyank on January 11, 2007 at 9:18 PM

There are no words to express my disgust for Ted.

CrimsonFisted on January 11, 2007 at 9:29 PM

I e-mailed United Media to find out why they would allow Rall to use the Charlie Brown likeness! You can contact them via their web site..note the conditions for reprint/usage

Pam on January 11, 2007 at 9:44 PM

So when is Ted Rall going over to Iraq ?

Opps sorry forgot I was talking about a total coward here.

William Amos on January 11, 2007 at 10:14 PM

Actually, this is mild stuff coming, as it does, from Rall. He’s done far worse.

thegreatbeast on January 11, 2007 at 10:23 PM

Ted Rall is to comedy what Ted Kennedy is to tap-dancing. If his strips were made into movies they would only be shown at drive-outs. The premiers would be at One-Hour Photos. The movies would be rated M, you have to be accompanied by a Moron to get in……….I could say more about Rall, but that would only take time…..

ritethinker on January 11, 2007 at 10:26 PM

I can’t stand Ted Rall.

The art in this strip is much better than the cr@p he normally draws.

I actually get the joke and I can laugh at it, unlike um every other cartoon he has ever drawn.

Oh and give me my “k” :)

JayHaw Phrenzie on January 11, 2007 at 10:31 PM

Wow, the courage it must take to draw those strips. I mean, what, with all the other cartoonists who have been imprisoned and ‘re-educated’ for attacking the Bush regime.

arteest on January 12, 2007 at 1:43 AM

So is Ted planning on going to Afganistan?

Tim Burton on January 12, 2007 at 2:52 AM

The intellectual laziness of the left never ceases to amaze me. Something original every 3 or 4 years would be nice. What a bore

Capitalist Infidel on January 12, 2007 at 2:52 AM

Who is Ted Rall? Does anyone really care? All I know is I prefer Fox Trot and Day by Day.

.

GT on January 12, 2007 at 6:56 AM

He’s signaling to the left his desire to atone for the sins of (a) conversing politely with Michelle Malkin

Jordan must really feel bad about the whole Malkin fiasco. “Sorry guys, I really didn’t think the chickenhawk warblogger would actually go to Iraq.”

BohicaTwentyTwo on January 12, 2007 at 8:43 AM

Yeah, yeah, yeah….we get it….more rummy bashing. The left is addicted to beating dead horses.

If Rall would replace Rummy with the “MSM” in that cartoon it would actually make sense, but would still lack any resemblance to real comedy.

csdeven on January 12, 2007 at 9:38 AM

Rall is not worth the ink to pint his name, much less his strip.
The boy (He never grew up and matured) has little talent and no creativity.
He likes to harp on the “no wmd’s” yet the wapo admitted that Saddam was a year away from completingh a nuke, plus several new factories were turned into “scrap metal” and sent to Syria. But rally boy does not have the sense to put 2 and 2 together.

GT,
you should look at http://www.coxandforkum.com they are pretty good. A true conservative comic. And it sucks that Foxtrots only on Sundays now.

Tim Burton on January 12, 2007 at 2:52 AM

Rall went to Afghanistan in 2001 and wrote a very entertaining book about it.
