Video: “Rosie” wrestles “Trump”

We got seven e-mails this morning tipping me to the Page Six item about Rosie allegedly calling Barbara “a f***ing liar” before yesterday’s show. I think we got two e-mails last night about the gunship attacking Al Qaeda in Somalia. I said yesterday this blog was about terrorism and “The View”; maybe I should have said, “The View” and terrorism.

What’s the only thing better than a real fight between Rosie and Barbara? A fake fight between Rosie and Donald. Here it is from last night’s “WWE Raw.” The first two segments are from the pre-match promo teases earlier in the show. I felt bad laughing at the Fudgie the Whale skit. But laugh I did.

Hard.

Update: I’d pay to see this match.

Update: The Donald finally finds common ground with Rosie — both of them think Barbara’s a liar.

To be exact, she said that ‘working with her is like living in hell’ and, more pointedly, ‘Donald never get into the mud with pigs’ and, ‘don’t worry, she won’t be here for long.’ Barbara knows exactly what she told me over the phone and she has to live with it. Perhaps that’s why her initial statement was so mild!

In another incident, when I saw her eating at Le Cirque about two months ago and asked how ‘Rosie was doing,’ ’she sarcastically rolled her eyes and said ‘Donald, do you have to ruin my meal.’

Blowback

4 more minutes that I can never get back

The best part is how NO ONE in that arena wanted to see that match. After “Donald Trump” (Ace Steel) kicked out of Rosie they booed, not because they wanted her to win, but because they knew the match wasn’t over yet.

Those chants you here are “TNA!” Which is WWE’s quasi-competition. This whole thing was just… horrible. I really hope the ratings were low so we don’t have to see crap like this again. Though I will admit, for the camp it was fricken hilarious.

Rosie O’Donnald and Barney Frank, now that’s a match!

Oh Fudgie… My Precious Fudgie…

ow… tummy hurts… laughing…

Rosie got forked up?

That stupidly beatific Barbara smile and posture, yesterday, gave away that something was remiss – the one in really, really hot water is Barbara. That’s the real match: Rosie/Barbara.

The Donald could lobby to make this into a reality show…

His letter to Rosie, today, is very clever. Can’t wait to see Barbara’s response.

Yep, terrorism and this! Hottest topics – puts Pelosi on the back burner, easy.

More to come on Rosie’s ‘woman’, ‘mother’, ‘lesbian’ and ‘fat’ victimhood…by white/very rich/bad-haired male…women on this board, don’t get fooled.

To be sure, he’s a scumbag too. To him notoriety is bliss.

Donald’s letter to Rosie was intended to hurt, which goes against my personal ethics, but…yikes. The specificity of his recollections of his interactions with Barbara Walters makes it pretty believable.

Winner by KO, Donald Trump.

Ok, first let me say I am chagrined that I am even getting involved in this discussion. But….

Do you think Barbara Wawa would have said these things to Trump unless she had his word he wouldn’t repeat them? I don’t–which leads me to conclude, she said them and he ratted her out, or she didn’t say them and he’s a big ol’ liar.

Love the handle. Does it refer to your profession or your high morals or are you as devastatingly handsome as a young GP?

Not my profession, and I fall short on the morals part every day (it’s a constant battle to watch my tongue and middle finger on the way home every day from work, but I try). As for the looks, I guess I can say “Yes”, this being the internet and all. But that would go against my high morals.

No, Atticus is my literary hero. We should all aspire to be more like him, even though he was semi-fictitious.

I put up last weeks WWE thing on YouTube and it got deleted and my account terminated. This video will not stay up very long. This is what I put up last week. http://www.dailymotion.com/zerodamage/video/xwr9y_wwe-chairman-makes-fun-of-rosie

What a waste of a perfectly good Fudgie The Whale.

Kid from Brooklyn on January 9, 2007 at 2:39 PM

Lesson to be learned today: If anyone can spin crap into gold, it’s Vince McMahon and his group of loose ends. Given the way Rosie and Donald have been carrying on lately, it was too much of a slow pitch over the plate for McMahon to lay off of. Rosie and Donald going head to head in real life? Bad Behavior abounding? That’s a green light to turn it up a notch and run a little blue-collar satire over the thing.

For all of his on-air shenanigans and employment of tacky as an art form, there are very few media-savvy CEO’s who have the same kind of grip on things as he does. If he falls behind, he’s patient enough to catch up steadily instead of panicking. Just ask his former competition . . . They won’t be hard to find. He hired most of them after outlasting them.

I am seeing a ton of feedback about “Raw” last night and none of it is positive. lol Here is an example: http://www.pwinsiderxtra.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=5195&p=1

The Donald/Rosie saga gets better all the time. And I hate celebrity “news”!

Here’s a pdf of a letter from Donald to Rosie from Fox News, which is so funny it probably deserves its own thread.

Geraldo vs. Olbermann:

“This is hilarious,” Olbermann responds in an e-mail to TVNewser. “I’m nearly 6′4″, Geraldo more than a half a foot shorter.”

KO may be right, but I think Geraldo would take him apart. Geraldo loves this crap (he’d probably go and cheap-shot KO if he saw him in public).

I’m with you on that, and I’m no fan of Geraldo. Olbermann apparently has some trouble understanding the concept that a fight isn’t automatically awarded to the guy that’s taller. (Which, come to think of it, shows about the same level of brainpower that we’re used to from Olberdouche.) I’ll take a smaller, scrappier guy who’s hungry versus a big guy who thinks size automatically wins any day. Plus Olby probably hits like a girl.

ReubenJCogburn on January 9, 2007 at 6:15 PM

Funny stuff…of course, as much as I dislike O’donnel seeing her step on a rake would be much cause for hilarity.

austinnelly on January 9, 2007 at 6:26 PM

What this entire row represents is the total lack of civility that we live in now…Ain’t pretty is it?

Mellen on January 9, 2007 at 6:37 PM

Reductio ad absurdum!

The wackos are getting all the attention while those with their heads screwed on straight and have got their minds right are ignored, or, if they are noticed at all, are the ones who are criticized as evil, nasty, crazy, cruel, homophobes, Islamophobes, selfish, and so on.

Rosie O’Donnel, blabbermouth, offensive, spewing idiotic pabulum, and receiving cheers from the View submissive, “tell us what to think and say, Rosie” audience and her fans.

The inmates truly are running the asylum

Truly sad. This (the attacks on AQ in Somolia, likely getting some of the top guys involved in the embassy bombings) should be the top story everywhere right now. Anyone have it on their paper’s front page? Not here… but we did have a giant story on state lawmakers holding 6 day hearings on global warming. The NY Times was too busy talking about a Dem “security” plan and Arnold’s new universal health care, yesterday’s smell, and (you guessed it) Saddam Hussein.

Example #5245612 of liberal media bias. Why is a great victory in the war on terror, especially one that would seem unprecedented and unexpected (based on the front) to most people, not on the frontpage of every paper? This should be the story of the month, no?
