Whine all you want. You love this story as much as I do or else you wouldn’t be here. Terrorism and “The View” — that’s what this blog is all about.
FYI, “Vivi” is Rosie’s son. I don’t know how Trump’s going to top that line about falling in love with a “big fat pig named Rosie,” but he will. He’ll think of something.
Exit question: Who’s the bigger comic genius, Joy Behar or Margaret Cho?

Thanks Alla, keep it coming. You can never post too much Rosie.

Teddy shirtless? And now Rosie? Geeze Allah, you really are in a foul mood, aren’t you?
R D on January 8, 2007 at 6:28 PM
And Kirsten Powers worship.
Bill C on January 8, 2007 at 6:32 PM
When was the last time I posted something about Kirsten Powers?
Allahpundit on January 8, 2007 at 6:34 PM
Is the bloom off the rose? I thought she was the official HotAir objective of unrequited ogling.
Bill C on January 8, 2007 at 6:42 PM
It’s been a long time - and that’s the problem. Even though she’s left of center, we’d much prefer her face to Rosie’s.

I love how everything goes back to the War on Terror tm.
Joy said something along the lines of “Calling someone fat is like saying someone is unpatriotic if they criticize the government.”
I could now launch into a tirade asking for exactly when someone was called unpatriotic for criticizing the government (as opposed to being called unpatriotic for the specific things they were saying/doing), but I have a feeling that I would mainly be preaching to the choir, so I’ll save my typing.
JadeNYU on January 8, 2007 at 6:45 PM
No, this is the greatest story ever. May it go on eternally.
Touchy…
Alex K on January 8, 2007 at 6:46 PM
She should go cozy up to those sewer rats. They have a whole culture built around PORK.
seejanemom on January 8, 2007 at 6:49 PM
Yeah, what happened AP? Did you get dumped before you got started?
OR??? You two are an item now, thats why the hush-hush on KP?
shooter on January 8, 2007 at 7:22 PM
I predict that The View will begin a slide that it will never recover from and they will be cancelled. And they should be-perpetuating this nastiness for ratings will blow up in Rosies FAT FACE….Nanananananananananana she started it!!!
Mellen on January 8, 2007 at 7:24 PM
I still like the comment on HA, “pork be upon him”, ala the Donald and rosie.
tormod on January 8, 2007 at 7:24 PM
Can someone reedit that to have Rosie’s “official comment” be an expelation of flatus? or, did they edit that OUT?
Mazztek on January 8, 2007 at 7:31 PM
No.
Jim Treacher on January 8, 2007 at 7:32 PM
If Trump was smart, he would not say any more about her. This honestly does nothing to boost his image; her image can not be harmed any more than it already is.
zerodamage on January 8, 2007 at 7:35 PM
A sit in… on his head! You get it! Hoooo! Watch out Cho!
Dash on January 8, 2007 at 7:43 PM
Let I should point out that if being called fat doesn’t effect her, then why did her child call it the F-Word. Makes one wonder if her children aren’t allowed to use that one arround the house.

AP made it clear who the new squeeze is. KP is history.
BacaDog on January 8, 2007 at 7:46 PM
My main problem with the fat jokes is that they’re so obvious. I think HA posters (and Trump, for that matter) can do a lot better. I mean, it’s Rosie. Are variations on “fatso” really the best insults we can come up with?
Laura on January 8, 2007 at 8:07 PM
Fat. Head.
Stupid.
Tzetzes on January 8, 2007 at 8:56 PM
No.
Citizen Duck on January 8, 2007 at 8:58 PM
I love this feud. Keep it coming, Allah!
Stormy70 on January 8, 2007 at 9:16 PM
Trump is smart. He will shut up now. Rosie will go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on…….
Like Keith “against” Bill. An imaginary foe. There is no feud when one party is not parrying.
CrimsonFisted on January 8, 2007 at 9:16 PM
Brains, I tell you; you havent’ realized it yet, simply brainy!
If Rosie were fat, smart, charismatic, gracious, decent and would just go away or at a minimum shut up by now…no one would care…the pictures tell much - she’s very defensive and really ticked - she’s fighting the impossible.
Still, I’m more fascinated with Barbara’s reaction. Moronic, unless we overestimated her all these years. She will leave this Earth with this legacy - can’t decide if that’s sad or funny. Since she’s self-destructive, it must be funny.
Entelechy on January 8, 2007 at 9:28 PM
Happened to catch this and want to say this..as Rosie opened the show with that, Joy was quick to point out that the Donald has a show that he is trying to get ratings for..yet it is the View that brings it up daily and stayed on the topic for 5 minutes yet again TODAY! Who are the ratings whores in this and the sad thing was..Babs was right there rolling in the mud with them..she really is the new Springer of daytime..
Pam on January 8, 2007 at 9:39 PM
Oh jeez… here we go. It seems like I’m always taking opposing positions, and the truth is that overall I do agree with most of the posters here.
But…
Sure, she’s fat (although I do think we ought to come up with more creative insults if possible) and even if she were thin she’d still be ugly. She’s definitely not smart - anybody who equates American Christians with jihadi Muslims is so stupid that I have to wonder how they manage to convert O2 to CO2. She is, however, charismatic enough to make it in show biz - and I say that because there is just NO WAY she’s managed to have any amount of success via the casting couch method, and as far as I know she didn’t have any good connections and wasn’t rich enough (a la Paris Hilton) to buy her way in.
But as far as “gracious” goes, if charitable donations are at least a partial indicator, she gives more than Trump, according to this Fox News article.
Now I have to go disinfect my keyboard and wash my hands, because I can’t believe I just defended this woman on any count, even in the interests of fairness.
Laura on January 8, 2007 at 10:07 PM
Is the lack of KP coverage here related to this?
mikeyboss on January 8, 2007 at 10:20 PM
Laura, I’ll make it easy for you (with whom I agree, probably most of the time :) - they’re both scumbags, and their weight has nothing to do with it!
Without taking the time to check - since around the Nov. ‘07 elections…
Entelechy on January 8, 2007 at 11:51 PM
I might actually Tivo this show on the 15th… Patricia Heaton will be a guest.
Ugly on January 9, 2007 at 12:24 AM
Yeah AP, I’m a little curious myself. I think Entelechy is correct about the timing (right around election time). I guess she just couldn’t be converted to the right side - that’s all right, there are many, many good looking conservative women that don’t need a conversion.
As for Rosie - something must be wrong with me that I keep clicking on the Rosie threads, and commenting (I need professional help - what’s that they say about insanity?)
Rick on January 9, 2007 at 1:24 AM
I’d take (post about) KP over Rosie any day of the week.
E L Frederick (Sniper One) on January 9, 2007 at 6:56 AM
The words “Donald Trump” were only used in comparison to “Dump Truck”.
There must have been a memorandum at ABC.
Black Adam on January 9, 2007 at 7:09 AM
Let’s get ready to rumble. The Dump Truck vs the Plump Truck!
soulsirkus on January 9, 2007 at 8:48 AM
I love how they compare calling someone fat to calling them unpatriotic … because they don’t want to defend the nation.
wow. Just … wow.
One Angry Christian on January 9, 2007 at 10:27 AM
Does anybody believe Rosie’s shtik about all the fat women at Target? Yeh, like Rosie goes down to Target all the time to shop. Though, come to think of it, this could explain Rosie’s wardrobe.

UPDATE: Why Baba made her little speech during the segment, contrary to that little “I didn’t know we were going to talk about this” crap!

Well turns out Rosie was right. Seems Donald is looking to have his detoxed beauty queen posing for Playboy as soon as she gets out of the farm.
Nothing says “hey, I’ve got a genuine interest in the welfare of this 20 year old girl” than arranging for her to get nekkid for some anachronistic rag.
What a creep.
honora on January 9, 2007 at 11:24 AM
When Barbara made that “I didn’t do it” speech, her body movement and eyes lead me to believe she was lying.
Thanks for that link!
gradyman on January 9, 2007 at 11:49 AM
fatties to rosie and vice versa: “I love you, and your type II diabetes.”
mattshu on January 9, 2007 at 11:52 AM
I find it ironic that Rosie and Joy Behar suddenly developed a “moral compass” and take the “high ground” by saying Trump’s name calling was a cowardice act and a coward resorts to those tactics. This coming the people who have said in the past Bush and Rumsfeld are “Hitler”, Republicans are “Nazis”, say that Christians are the same as “radical” Muslims and, last but not least, Trump was basically a “bankrupt” man with “bad hair”. I find that highly ironic (or hypocritical) coming from them. I’m not a big Trump fan by no means, but at least he’s honest enough to call a person a name and not hypocritically deny he’s like that.

Looks like there was a fight in the air and make-up room between Walters and O’Donnell
E L Frederick (Sniper One) on January 9, 2007 at 1:17 PM
It didn’t take Donald long to respond and it looks as though Walters is indeed lying.

gradyman, you’re on top of the greatest entertainment…good job,

The “Ask Ro” section Rosie’s website is comedy gold. Check it out it you have a few minutes. From “apauling” to Rosie’s complaint that the media wants a “fued,” to this exchange, Rosie’s answer is in bold:
Laura on January 9, 2007 at 2:59 PM
Laura, you are right. This crap is priceless. Below I quoted from “Ask Ro” where Rosie commits the same spelling error (”fued”) that CNN did. A couple of comments below that, she corrects somebody’s spelling (what a gem).
Rick on January 9, 2007 at 5:08 PM
The Donald is right on in his description of “The Big One”. All of us can see her dimensions. But Rosie reverted to innuendo when using pimp in reference to Trump. Now, if the Donald had used Rosie “O’Dildo”, when referring to her, he too would be reverting to innuendo, even though there does seem to be a dominant male lurking beneath those weird, large size outfits!
