Video: “Open Season” — the anti-CAIR remix; Update: Stuck Mojo responds to CAIR

posted at 9:28 pm on January 6, 2007 by Allahpundit

This has been making the rounds for the past week and now Charles has given me an excuse to post it. I agree with him that CAIR’s overreacting, predictably, to “Open Season” — if the original video is the one that Basim Elkarra saw. If he saw this remix, though (which seems to have been produced by a fan of the band, not the band itself), then I can see where he’d feel a little threatened.

Doesn’t mean Barbara Boxer wasn’t right, though. And that’s the first, and probably last, time you’ll ever hear me say that.

Update: SM guitarist Rich Ward fires back.

Correcting a mistake doesn’t make Boxer right. She should have known better in the first place.

Correcting a mistake doesn’t make Boxer right. She should have known better in the first place.

I don’t know about that. Boxer could have let it go, but it took some b__s to not only admit she was wrong in the first place, but rebuke CAIR as well.

You can get Stuck Mojo’s CD and hear songs at this site:

$15 in CONUS.

Mazztek on January 6, 2007 at 9:49 PM

And I’m with Allahpundit. That’s the only time you’ll see me defend Boxer, most likely.

Slublog on January 6, 2007 at 9:51 PM

Barbara Boxer’s harmless. She’s all talk, all symbolism, no action.

Frankly, I think she’s the best we could get out of Cali. It would be worse if she actually DID something. (Unless she’s put out something I’m unaware of, in which case PLEASE prove me wrong so I don’t look like a tool)

Ringmaster on January 6, 2007 at 9:52 PM

I say tough sh#t if CAIR feels threatened, in fact it’s about time the tables are turned on them. I don’t use some of the langauge used by Stuck MoJo, OK, only when I hit my finger with the hammer, but the song still makes it’s points and does so strongly…and fairly. It is time to cowboy up, past time actually. From time to time I have to deal with some folks from the Middle East. I don’t change one bit while I’m in their presence. They know this and respect it, or perhaps fear it, I don’t care which it is. I proudly wear my Camp Fallujah hat and T-shirt, I have done so on a few occasions doing business with these folks. This is my country, not to sound like John Mellencamp, and I refuse to bend my way of living or thinking because of others incessant whining and complaining. CAIR, a little advice, be who you are. If you support Hezbo and all of the other jihadists, then do so publicly and all the time. Forget the deceit and deception, be who you are. Cowboy up CAIR, I have…..

ritethinker on January 6, 2007 at 9:54 PM

This is my country, not to sound like John Mellencamp…

It’s completely off-topic, but I have to ask – is anyone else as sick of that stinking song as I am? You can’t watch a football game without hearing that song nearly every commercial break.

I liked the song the first two dozen times I heard it. Now, though, it just makes me tired.

It’s the new “Like a Rock.”

Slublog on January 6, 2007 at 10:06 PM

If he saw this remix, though (which seems to have been produced by a fan of the band, not the band itself), then I can see where he’d feel a little threatened.

He Better feel threatened. It’s a slow awakening, but more Americans are getting fed up with these Islamic Terrorists trying to turn us into ass in the air muslims. I’m feeling just like it says in Open Season. And I hope others do too.

R D on January 6, 2007 at 10:08 PM

The only reason CAIR should feel threatened by that video is that it tells the truth they want to bury. And to echo the end of the video: A big F*CK YOU to CAIR.

ReubenJCogburn on January 6, 2007 at 10:10 PM

Great remix, there is nothing in it that has not already been broadcast, all of it is the truth about what a great number of its followers believe.Classic maneuver,threaten to kill us all and then say they feel threatened when we say “Uh,no”.
I like it when they are upset ( CAIR) it means someone has said we will not submit.

bbz123 on January 6, 2007 at 10:13 PM

Excellent…Clean it up and put it out.

Jarch007 on January 6, 2007 at 10:19 PM

CAIR feels threatened? Oh really? What, did somebody threaten to replace your consititution with a holy book? Oh wait, no, that was YOU guys!

Guess what “CAIR”? WE feel threstened by YOU and that’s only gonna last for so long. When it happens, just remember oe thing: You brought it on yourselves.

Tony737 on January 6, 2007 at 10:20 PM

CAIR BEWAREI hope more and more people hear about them and fast. The double talking BS has been going on for years and most in the US are blind or haven’t a clue. They count on the liberal MSM to push thier peace BS while not condoning what needs to be done period. Yes use our laws, hide behind the libs but WEare not blind or deaf. The song isn’t my kind of talk but thier point is well made and TRUE

This video and “Open Season” express open resistance to the Islamofacist and their threats. Power, and the willingness to use it, is the only thing the Islamofacist relates to and this video puts it in their face.”

Resistance and preservation of our freedoms are important and I commend this video and those behind it for their efforts. They clearly recognize the Islamofacist threat, document the reasons behind their view, and make it clear in no uncertain terms how they feel about that enemy.

We must also remember that one of the great strengths in the United States is the law enforcement system. Any violence against the Islamofacist would be prosecuted with severe personal consequences. The current political system would probably prescribe more severe penalties against an American patriot than an Islamofacist who takes action against a citizen of this country.

Open hostilities, as is happening in other countries and I believe will begin in Europe in the next 36 months, will lead to civil war. The Law Enforcement System in the United States is the first barrier against open conflict in just such a political struggle.

What we can do is to stay informed on the Islamofacist threat, understand it, participate in sites such as Hot Air and Jihadwatch, and be politically active including contacting our representatives.

As for myself, I am still trying to figure out what is a “moderate” Muslim, if almost all Muslims are not really “moderate” but “Inactive” and the extent to which they support the Islamofacist. Not all Muslims are Islamofacists and I believe we must understand the difference.

The Law Enforcement System in the United States is the first barrier against open conflict in just such a political struggle.

And guess whose side LE will be on when the sh*t hits the fan here.

infidel4life on January 6, 2007 at 11:40 PM

The remix is even better than the original as it embeds the videos which tell the story in an ‘out the mouths of babes’ fashion. The photo display of convicted/deported CAIR officials is icing on the cake.

Here is a link to a well written letter to congress about the dangers of CAIR and muhammedan infiltration.

Samples from the article:

Are you aware that Muslim imams are not just religious clerics of their belief system as are the clerics of the various Christian and Buddhist churches? Imams are very much political players who have been proven to continually preach and promulgate murder of all infidels and Jews. They preach the Qur’anic requirements of hate, violence, lying, and deceit where non-Muslims are concerned, and loyalty and allegiance only to Islam in the United States and in every country in which they are to be found. It is they who promote subversion and endless war against anyone and everyone who is not Muslim because it is the goal of every “good” Muslim to Islamize every country in the world. If every imam was expelled from the United States, the incidence of terrorist activities, planned subversions, dissemination of hate literature to all age groups, and the health and prosperity of Muslim terrorist groups would decrease exponentially.

Are you also aware that there is an umbrella game plan for destruction of the freedom and independence of every person in the United States (and in every other free country) called “The Project”? It is the same pattern that Muslims have used for centuries to infiltrate and destroy every society with which they came into contact.

Anis Shorrosh, Ph.D., an ex-Muslim, has an excellent version of “The Project” which is in actuality the classic game plan for societal destruction which he calls the “20-Year Plan for USA: Islam Targets America”. Muslim invaders have used this same methodology ever since the 7th century in their ruthless destruction of non-Muslim societies.

. . .Front Page Magazine article by Patrick Poole called “The Muslim Brotherhood ‘Project’” and the translation from the French of “The Project” itself also found in Front Page Magazine. Compare it with Dr. Shorrosh’s 20-Year Plan (also enclosed) and draw your own conclusions about the purpose of the many offices of CAIR, the huge Muslim walled enclaves are mini-Saudi kingdoms inside our country, and the ever-growing Muslim colonies in Virginia, Michigan, and California, just to mention some of the largest and boldest foci of subversion of this country.

Muslim activists are practicing double-speak, using words that have a particular meaning and association in this country to make it appear that they are saying one thing while, in reality, in their frames of reference, mean something entirely different. For example, the simple word ‘justice’. We define the term as equal and fair treatment for all concerned regardless of ethnicity, religion, color, etc. In Islam, ‘justice’ means fair treatment for Muslims only. Another example is the term ‘peace’. Americans define it as everyone living and associating with one another without strife and allowing each to pursue his or her own activities without being persecuted. In Islam, ‘peace’ means that everyone alive has been converted to Islam and that the entire society is under Muslim rule. Everyone else is either dead or a dhimmi.

Inroads into every country, including the United States, take the form of organizing, funding, and establishing (
1) mosques and Islamic schools;
(2) providing bought-and-sold imams to preach hatred and contempt for host countries and funding terrorist cells within the mosques;
(3) forming Islamist special interest groups such as the Council for American Islamic Relations to lobby for privileges for Muslims alone;
(4) infiltrating the media for propaganda and censorship purposes;
(5) gaining control of the computer industries to control communications;
(6) infiltrating the public educational system by means of textbooks which whitewash and promote Islam;
(7) funding entire university Islamic Studies departments chaired by Islamist Ph.D.s and using Islamist professors to teach the Saudi Islamic party line of peace, love, and similarity to Christianity along with lies about the actual mature of Islam and Muhammed;
(8) forming Muslim student organizations which purpose it is to keep Muslim foreign students hostile to their host countries, proselytize for Islam, recruit as many new converts as possible, and to set up terrorist cells within the host countries at every opportunity;
(9) buying off political leaders with staggering sums of money to influence them to betray their countries and assist in the extinction of their citizens’ national heritages, rights, and freedoms in favor of Islamic dhimmitude;
(10) bring fear to the society at large by indiscriminate violence and killings; and
(11) establish Muslim rule by force after the fabric of the society and government have been destroyed;
(12) threaten to cut off the supply of oil to the United States;
(13) terminate American freedom of speech by replacing it with hate crime bills state-wide and nation-wide;
(14) Nominate Islamist sympathizers for office;
(15) encourage Muslims to penetrate the White House;
(16) accelerate Islamic population growth;
(17) marry American women and Islamize them, then divorce them and remarry;
(18) present resident Muslims as deprived victims of the American system;
(19) intimidate anyone who speak out against Islam;
(20) open false ‘charities’ and bilk Americans of funding money; and
(21) convert angry blacks to militant Islam, but do not tell them that it was the Arabs who originally sold blacks as slaves for centuries;

Islamophobia: Fear of being killed by people that take pride in exclaiming “Death to America.”

First of all, as one of the co-writers of “Open Season,” I’d like to say thank you very, very much to everyone here at who has shown their support for the band. Having been bitch-slapped for so many years in the left-leaning world of the music business/press for being pro-American and openly conservative, it’s been nothing short of phenomenal to actually have people stand in our corner! Again, thank you!

Stuck Mojo guitarist and founder, Rich Ward, has responded to CAIR’s misrepresentation (read “lies”) about “Open Season” and its message. You can view his response and links to the pertinent pieces of the story here:

We can only hope that this will all end with Rich in one little video box and the folks from CAIR in another in a national, telvised forum of some kind. We stand behind the defensive, anti-Jihadist message of “Open Season” and invite everyone to listen to the song, read the lyrics, view the video and judge for themselves.

Thanks again for all of your support!

Breaker on January 7, 2007 at 12:11 AM

And that’s the first, and probably last, time you’ll ever hear me say that.

You scored a 25 on your test AP, it won’t be the last. Guaranteed.

Boxer was likely dragged kicking and screaming to make the statement she did and pull the award. Political expediency was the only excuse. End of line.

TwinkietheKid on January 7, 2007 at 12:41 AM

End of line.

TwinkietheKid on January 7, 2007 at 12:41 AM

Ahhh. Pelosi is MCP and Boxer is Sark.

infidel4life on January 7, 2007 at 12:55 AM

Thanks for the post, Breaker, and good luck with the album. Here’s hoping that folks like you will be able to provide an alternative to the milk-sucking gag-fest which are Green Day et al.

spmat on January 7, 2007 at 1:07 AM

Haven’t gotten mine yet either, infidel4life. I ordered same day you did. I think they’re shipping out some time in mid January. They save more money if they do the bulk-rate price for printing, copying, and shipping.

Hope they ship sooner.

Danilo on January 7, 2007 at 2:22 AM

something i can’t get around is that their mc is a chuck d clone. it’s a good band overall, but their vocalist just isn’t original at all.

jummy on January 7, 2007 at 4:37 AM

I stand behind this song 100%. I’m a classic rock fan, but this song just struck a chord. If only all Americans said this kind of thing.

if only.

Black Adam on January 7, 2007 at 5:48 AM

Perhaps it’s the quality of the video, but the guitar riffs just sound too sludgy for my tastes (but I guess that’s what Fozzy is for). But hats off to seeing rap lyrics involving more than ‘I’m the best/b:)tches and hos’ content

Be interesting to see where this video heads.. could it turn SM’s new CD into their biggest seller, or will everyone else try to sweep the whole thing under the rug..

Reaps on January 7, 2007 at 5:51 AM

…And What’s fascinating is the video uses quotes from Democratic senators at the start, and despite this is still derided by commenters as a “redneck right wingers own 9/11 conspiracy style video”

*two thumbs up*

YourRoyalWhyness, thanks for that info. Most of us here at HotAir know this stuff already but it’s nice to know that this was also sent to Congress. I hope the new members get a copy too, especially Keith Ellison.

Tony737 on January 7, 2007 at 7:43 AM

We must also remember that one of the great strengths in the United States is the law enforcement system.

Would that, perchance, be the same law enforcement system that lets millions of illegal aliens stream across the border? The same law enforcement system that, in my hometown, prohibits the police from sharing immigration violation information with federal authorities, or even asking a person’s immigration status? The same law enforcement system that is intent on sending Ramos and Compean to prison for over 10 years while repeatedly giving immunity to the illegal alien drug smuggler they were trying to apprehend?

Color me unimpressed and definitely uncomforted.

Dave Shay on January 7, 2007 at 11:09 AM

This is a little off topic but I saw on the evil CNN Nir Rosen of the “New America Foundation” Claim the the jihadist in Somalia were the glue that was holding the nation together. He also said that he had been there to visit after the Islamist takeover (not 100% sure if it was after) So anyway I looked up his name and found the New America Foundation a far left anti-capitalist site.
This is the only site I found that questions his links to the enemy. I was hoping to use the resources here at HA to learn more maybe even see if we can get this guy labeled as the Jihadist he is by the MSN.

I’m sure Jenna could add it as a belated X-mas present.

Following up on this, I got an email response from Rich Ward last night:

….I am still waiting for the order to be shipped from the replication facility. They are located in Colorado and have given me a laundry list of excuses from weather to the holidays for the delay……I will work hard to get them out ASAP. I am personally packaging and shipping each order myself to assure that there are no mistakes. Thank you so much for your support of the band and for your patience in receiving the disk and DVD.
Respectfully, Rich Ward

So, not to worry.

Great, great remix. And great links too – thx for keeping us all in the loop!

RD on January 7, 2007 at 5:48 PM

Boxer? Whatever.

The Stuckmojo video is huge and powerful, but the real power is in the video of Wafa Sultan saying those words with that voice. It was like God screaming in my ears.

I can only imagine the fury and shame that the jihadi buttsniffers feel when they hear her accusing them and using the example of Jewish achievement to shame them further; the power of shame and ridicule.

Jaibones on January 7, 2007 at 8:53 PM

Revisit: some time not long ago I read an explanation of the Iraq war from some conservative analyst (anyone remember who?), who said this was simple: the Bushites knew that after any number of Islamist attacks on western assets without meaningful response, it was time to kill a bunch of them, mostly to show them that there was something at risk, now that Clinton is gone.

So, they went to Iraq and have killed something like 50,000 to 75,000 nutbags who hate us, and now they know that we are very good at killing jihadis, and that they are utterly incapable of fighting against us in almost any environment.

Suicide bombs in delis? Fine. Battlefield, street fight, desert, mountains, oceans…forget it. Nowhere to hide. Nukes? Only if you want a billion dead Muslims.

And, now, even after all the sturm und drang of the Dem election and the debate over the war? I have a sudden sense that Bush has won…completely; and that the jihadis have been crushed in their hearts, that the progress of civilization is in motion even in the shithole that is the middle east.

Look at Iraq. They don’t fight us; they fight each other. Iran is a paper tiger, about to implode due to it’s own stupidity and inept governance. Even the Pali nitwits are fighting each other in the street.

The tide has turned. History — even short term history — will prove Bush right and righteous, and judge our sacrifices in Iraq and Afghanistan as world changing events. Sauron is dead, and the reign of men continues.

Eagles suck.

Jaibones on January 7, 2007 at 9:07 PM

It’s singing to the choir here, but I’ll echo the previously expressed sentiment “if only all Americans would get it” and I know that congratulating Boxer on her ability to disassociate herself from terrorist supporters is lame (we’ll probably see marijuana legal in a year anyway), I’d be more heartened if I saw more direct intervention by our government’s investigators against these so-called “charity” and “advocacy” groups that are fueling the enemy’s side, especially those groups hiding behind and usurping our freedoms. Screaming “foul” is indeed a radical Islamic tactic, and in the crazy asymmetry of WWIV, perhaps what it’s gonna take are people like Stuckmojo, so you guys rock the Casbah and do whatever you gotta do to stick to your guns. I can only imagine the heat coming down. You’ve made America proud, and your country supports you.
