On last night’s ‘Real Free Speech’ segment on H&C, Miller slammed CNN for blanching at Saddam’s execution after they aired footage in October of a sniper targeting an American soldier. His verdict on the hanging? Rough justice, but justice nonetheless. With more soon to come, let’s hope, for the man whose name Saddam’s executioners were chanting.

Clarifying moment. Good for Dennis Miller!

I Really like his way with words! Says it like it is, but with his sarcastic wit thrown in. We need to see more of Dennis.

I agree, More of Dennis!

Dennis needs to do VENTS while Michelle and Bryan are in the Sandbox….yeah…do I get a second????
seejanemom on January 6, 2007 at 3:43 PM
do I get a second????
I second. I’d rather see Miller get into some verbal sparring with some dems. He’d shred them. Hmmm … Senator Miller?
darwin on January 6, 2007 at 3:45 PM
I heart Dennis Miller!
danarchy on January 6, 2007 at 3:46 PM
I’m all for cloning him. Do I get a second???
darwin on January 6, 2007 at 3:50 PM
He’s great! And yeah, it’d be fantastic to see him Vent on HotAir.

I’d love to see Miller and Franken go at it.

Dennis, at his rapier-witted best!
I like his point about the ensuing zoo if the Gitmo inmates were put on trial…
No thank you.
Jen the Neocon on January 6, 2007 at 4:11 PM
Won’t happen. Franken had been on Miller’s show a few times. They are too good of friends.
Great editorial, tho. He’s in a good place at Fox.
CrankyNeocon on January 6, 2007 at 4:17 PM
Thanks Ian, you probably felt a little jumped on for the John Stewart clip. Nice save. Dennis is always a home run. He was the best weekend update host SNL ever had. His dvd release from a few years back is a must see. Liberals do not have a monopoly on funny. Git-er-done!

Hey, for once the right gets a cool guy. I’m going to completely ignore the fact that Rick Perry has the same hair.

A-freaking-men. At the risk of violating Heisenberg, you can be both funny and politically on-target at the same time. Nice work, Cha-cha!
stonemeister on January 6, 2007 at 5:12 PM
I was in complete stiches watching that last night on Hannity. He nailed it.
csdeven on January 6, 2007 at 5:58 PM
Dennis Miller is ALL grown up! Great riff.

May sadist Sadr find that this good ‘noose’ is “the gift that keeps giving”.
Soon…
It’d be nice if they dumped Katie Couric and hired Miller.
Instead of mush we might get some meat.
Kudos Dennis!

So nice to hear on tv. The right words at the right time.

DENNIS MILLER ROCKS!!!!!!
Lonevoice on January 6, 2007 at 8:26 PM
Did someone say Smalley vs Miller? This would be the super bowl of blow-outs, Frankenidiot wouldn’t have a prayer. Yeah, their SNL days wouldn’t allow them to have at it, which is a good thing for Al-abbas Franken…………
ritethinker on January 6, 2007 at 9:21 PM
Miller is one of those people like Steyn, Hansen, or Whittle, who can craft and deliver a verbal payload deserving of the description ’shock and awe’. Whenever I have delusions of being good at skewering leftists, I read these guys and am immediately aware that I should have the roast duck and mango salsa.
stonemeister, coming up with a Heisenberg reference when discussing Dennis Miller is Einsteinian in its artistic perfection. I’d have been tempted to go with Pauli myself, but I believe you did a better job of it.
Sign at a bed-n-breakfast: “Heisenberg may have slept here.”
The Monster on January 6, 2007 at 10:19 PM
Miller mopped the floor politically with al’Franken more than once on the SNL set, and Al wouldn’t dream of giving Dennis the chance to shred him in front of a camera.
I’ve never been a fan of Dennis Miller, but he sees the U.S. as it should be seen, refusing to be guilty that we’re a superpower.

I almost missed the caveman reference. Nice…
Part of what always irked me about Dennis Miller was hus smug manner of delivering his stand-up routine, basically being certain he was the sharpest thing in the room, and loving the fact that half the audience wasn’t really keeping up with him, but would be embarassed to admit it, so laughed anyway. I don’t have any use for that attitude or method. He is gifted with a phenomenal wit, and an encyclopaedic memory of TV and movie factoids which he can recall at a whim. That doesn’t give him the right to insult his audience by laughing at the fact that they don’t share his skills, and that’s the sense I was always left with.
Still, he rants like nobody else.

Don’t give up, Dennis. There are tens of millions behind you.
Don’t believe th hype!

Thank you, Dennis Miller. God bless you for those words of absolute wisdom. I even took notes.

A great American voice of reason and humor… in the same breath.

Note to Hotair guru’s:
Any future videos of Dennis would be a plus….

Imagine Dennis Miller and Mark Steyn as a comedic duo. I’d turn the TV on for that–something I haven’t done in months.

Yes, may it be so. For Allah is Obliging, Market-Savvy.
