That wasn’t that funny, it was just a ripoff of a popular commercial.

It would have been more entertaining if the Daily Show actually got Little Richard to appear and make an original clip.

What’s next, the Gieco lizard doing stand up routines with Cheney in the backdrop?

How about Hillary driving around DC looking for Bill and screaming “Where’s the beef?”

Right Jen. Thanks. Even my favorite movie turned out to be (brilliantly made,) liberal propaganda. The moral of Strangelove is “anti-communism is insane paranoia.” The same thing asserted today by Jaherr22 and his friends about Islam. I’ve always loved George C, but thought Gen. Patton would be an inappropriate alias for a civilian. btw enjoyed your comments since my lurking days.

Here’s the problem. Of course It’s funny. People tend not to make value jugements while laughing. That’s how they get you. Do something clever enough and next thing you know, you are laughing while GWB refrences 911. It’s insideous. Springsteen & Taylor ~~are~~ were two of my biggest musical influences, and complete moonbats. I’ve grown averse of the entire “entertainment industrial complex.” baby crying- gotta go.

Colbert brilliant? When did I miss that striking moment? Stewart and Colbert are both the creations of their writers. Not funny, certainly not newsworthy. I have no opinion of the clip. I didn’t laugh but I wasn’t offended.

No, he’s not. he, at one point, was funny but his jokes and his writers are now predictable. And Stewart’s talent is not much compared to Colbert’s sarcasm and brilliance.

For those lusting after Joan Jett...I hate to break this to you, but she's quite possibly a lesbian:

She openly flirts with her lesbian fans at concerts, sports a “Dykes Rule” sticker on her guitar and even played an intimate gig at this year’s Dinah Shore Weekend, but she still refuses to field questions on the topic.

No, I have no idea what "Dinah Shore Weekend" is, and I'm afraid to Google it.

No one is making fun of 9/11 here. At the very most, it’s a vague commentary about how Bush raises the specter of 9/11 in order to keep Americans motivated by fear (”Look out!”), but that is a far cry from making fun of the events of 9/11. Even that’s a stretch. Mostly it’s just a silly clip of a very serious man woven into a clip of a very zany man. The humor is in the contrast, and in the implied fictitious conversation.
