As a conservative (I used to be a liberal), I want to protect my child from all of this for as long as I can. That is the difference between me and the liberals I meet. They can’t wait to indoctrinate their children. Sad.

Reminds me of when my 8 yr old daughter asked what a Democrat is and I told her it was someone who is mean, annoying, and doesn’t clean their room. Thereafter, she started calling her little brother a democrat any time he annoyed her.

I went back and watched the littlest moonbat and remembered that her rant was viral marketing for a band called the Bastard Fairies. So she was being used to sell a product.

Hmmmm, using children to sell something. Isn’t that some type of capitalist exploitation?

I wasn’t much older than this kid when my parents had me stuffing envelopes for Reagan. There is a fine line between a teaching moment and abuse, I guess.

Note to anyone who wants to do this in the future. Don’t.

But if you must, get your stooge to deliver an entire sentence in one take, then turn as if to face ‘the other camera’, and repeat the same move with the camera in the other position before doing the next sentence (you actually shoot the odd-numbered sentences first, then reposition the camera and do the others). Then you can edit the sentences together and it’ll look like it was done seamlessly. Alternatively, provide some other visual break such as a full-screen picture of what’s being discussed to cover the splicing.

Whilst the little girl annoyed me more, (I was completely indifferent to the little boy) I did however, find the little girl a little more natural, better actress. Just my 2 centimes.

The hippie girl was better at this, but I’m not sure I’m fond of 8 year olds not being kids. Both should be out playing and riding their bikes, not debating religion and world politics.

This smacks of child beauty pagents, in which children are made to look like adults. It also puts me in mind of parents making their kids carry various abortion signage at a rally.

I agree. If those two had been left out of her video, it would have been entertaining. And to be fair, if they’d been left out, I doubt anyone would have been crying child abuse in the first place.

The boy comes off more likable than that awful snarky girl-child, she’d been told what to say, of course, but her attitude of superiority had been well-developed since birth. Her parents probably read her Leftie screeds while she was in the womb.

To be fair, I’m sure plenty of Righties and religious people do the same.

The superiority thing isn’t needed in a child, but I don’t blame a parent for educating their child on what they believe to be true.

If you’re going to refer to my post keep it in context. The conservative kid kept it calm and reasonable. There was no massive screaming and cussing. There was no fanatical rhetoric. There was no anti religious bigotry or any bigotry for that matter … at all.

If anything, I’d say the kind of debating this eight-year-old (if we can call it debating even though I’m sure we all realize he probably didn’t know what he was saying) was engaging in is precisely what parents should be teaching their children.

He didn’t get angry or use bigotry for his response and instead debated like a rational adult would.

What he said wouldn’t be considered fanaticism in an adult. And I think that’s the disctintion here. What the little girl said would be considered fanaticism no matter how old the speaking was. What the boy is saying (specifically the words he is using) would never be.

But then again, I didn’t consider the other video child abuse anyway. I believe it was inappropriate but a far cry from actual child abuse, which is a truly horrible problem in our world.
