Berkeley is nothing compared to Barbra Streisand’s 16,000 sq. feet compound in Malibu, which has even the horses’ stables airconditioned. The queen wins again!

Entelechy on January 3, 2007 at 1:03 PM

That is the greatest. i love it.

jummy on January 3, 2007 at 1:07 PM

So now the question for Zombie is this:

What sort of car does Cindy Sheehan drive???

Don’t let us down, Zombie!

(even if it does turn out to be something sensible. We can handle the truth, even if it is painful. Although, since I watched her “hunger strike”, I doubt she is going to act any different with her choice of automobile.

EFG on January 3, 2007 at 1:29 PM

that is sooooooo classic. Thanks. I got a good laugh out of that one.

One Angry Christian on January 3, 2007 at 1:35 PM

What sort of car does Cindy Sheehan drive???

She’s got a brand new car, one bought with her son’s life insurance. And that’s not a joke.

But did anyone catch the hypocrisy in this one?

http://www.zombietime.com/concourse_of_hypocrisy/01.html

The winner of the best bumper sticker award.

The bumper sticker reads :”Stop killing children for oil” right next to its “Keep abortion legal” sticker.

Esthier on January 3, 2007 at 1:39 PM

Yeah, I knew about that. I was just wondering what sort it was.

EFG on January 3, 2007 at 1:43 PM

Berkeley, where they coined the phrase:
Do as I say, not….

well , you know.

shooter on January 3, 2007 at 1:45 PM

And yeah, that was a real good eye catching that “Keep abortion legal” along with a “Stop killing children for oil.”

I guess it isn’t a child until it reaches the 42nd trimester.

EFG on January 3, 2007 at 1:48 PM

Which one is the Kosmobile and does he use a booster seat?

JammieWearingFool on January 3, 2007 at 1:51 PM

Why blur the Licence-Plates?

They clearly want to make a public political statement as is their first ammendment right.

And I’d like to know just who these idiots are so I can avoid them.

Hypocrites.

If they want an SUV that’s good for the environment they should all do what I do and drive the Jeep Liberty with the Diesel Engine running Bio-Diesel.

(Even the B-20 non-sulfurous Bio Diesel is #1 Cheaper as is gets over 30% better MPG than a Gasoline SUV, #2 it’s Better for the enviromnent Emissions-wise, and #3 it has kickass-torque.)

Posers! Wannabees! If those people want to be green (Or in my case Efficient/cheap/anti-terrorist’s-oil) then they should put up or shut up.

Jones Zemkophill on January 3, 2007 at 1:53 PM

Hey Zombie Upon closer review a lot of those bumper stickers seem to come out of Minneapolis, MN home of Keith Ellison. Just more irony.

LakeRuins on January 3, 2007 at 2:08 PM

Do as I say, not as I do because you’re dumb and I’m smart and blah, blah, blah.

SouthernGent on January 3, 2007 at 2:11 PM

1 and 2 are AWD and 4WD. That’s so they can drive them off road and destroy habitat and vegetation while they are polluting.

roninacreage on January 3, 2007 at 2:23 PM

Yeah, I knew about that. I was just wondering what sort it was.

EFG on January 3, 2007 at 1:43 PM

Hmmm….. This is the best I can find, via Sweetness-light.com:

I am being smeared because I have a new car and I have “blown” through “$250,000.00″ dollars of Casey’s insurance money.

Cindy wrote this herself after people kept asking why her son didn’t have a headstone, something that didn’t cost her a dime.

Oh, and if you go here., you’ll see that she got one before her own son did.

Esthier on January 3, 2007 at 2:28 PM

Beautiful!!

Conservative bloggers/websites should make a habit of exposing this hypocrisy!

Only trouble is, the liberals have no problem with hypocrisy. It’s not even an issue for them.

CyberCipher on January 3, 2007 at 3:01 PM

That was excellent! Zombie and that mini-camera always get good stuff.

And you must have good eyes Esthier, i did’nt catch that abortion sticker the first time either.

Scot on January 3, 2007 at 3:13 PM

There’s the one (a white Camry wagon):

How many Iraqi children did we kill today?

This car (like the one mentioned above) has the “Keep Abortion Legal” sticker, to which I assert, “Not nearly as many American children die–on a daily basis–from your vaunted practice of defending some whore’s right to choose.”

Sorry, all, for my vitriol. (No rhyme intended.)

urbancenturion on January 3, 2007 at 4:28 PM

Stop Killing Children For Oil

…and start killing them for personal convenience and political expediency!!

urbancenturion on January 3, 2007 at 4:47 PM

Well heck yeah we do! Why do you think we buy those things, anyway?

/oh, wait a minute…

But probably not with that inverted flag, huh Sammy? We wouldn’t go that far.

Should have put a side of beef on the column head, Allah. This is truly red meat for the kids; so very red.

Jaibones on January 3, 2007 at 7:51 PM

If only they could build a vehicle that was powered by liberal hypocrisy. Not only is it free and available everywhere, there’s an infinite supply.

ReubenJCogburn on January 3, 2007 at 8:16 PM

Just an FYI…

According to cindysheehanwatch.com She Drives an 06 VW Bug Convertible.

liquidflorian on January 3, 2007 at 8:36 PM

I thought the “What’s our oil doing under their soil?” sticker was a sticker making a conservative statement!!! The first time I heard that line used was during a conversation where my husband listened as someone bellyached about how we should never have gone to Iraq and blah, blah, blah. My husband looked at her and said, “You know, I could understand your anger if you could just answer this question: how did OUR oil get under THEIR soil?” It struck me as so funny and ridiculous, but I had no idea it was a bumper sticker.

Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou AP and Zombie! My wife’s dad hails from the Berkley area and she considers it a second home (he’s a Republican and she’s a Libertarian. Go figure). This gives me all the ammunition I need to a) get a REALLY good laugh out of the morons with whom I am happy to say I no longer share a state and b) fire off yet another salvo in my endless Berkley-is-NOT-that-great argument (someday I will convince her!). My brother, a staunch Republican himself, did a summer Latin course at the UC and his anecdotes regarding that place are truly priceless. Visiting him when he was there, however, did make me wish I’d brought along the rest of my squad…

Militant Bibliophile on January 4, 2007 at 4:15 AM

I remember driving thru Berserkly a few times when I was stationed in Alameda in the early 90’s. It always bothered me when I would get these strange looks from the inhabitants when they would see my DOD sticker on my truck. Oh well! The military wised up and abandoned the Bay Area since they claim they don’t like us. If anything happens they will be crying the loudest for us to come save their sorry liberal asses and I hope the military says, “We’ll get to you after we save the areas that support us first.”

ic1redeye on January 4, 2007 at 11:22 AM

Man I can’t stand these idiots, They should all just walk.(out of the country)
Just to show where I stand on the issue, I own 3 cars as follows:
1965 GTO 8 mpg going down hill with a tail wind. Prefers leaded!
Front plate reads “suckin’ gas & haulin’ ass”
1988 GMC 4wd full size 13 mpg
2005 GTO been averaging 17 mpg. Which I think is pretty good, best I’ve ever had!
There is plenty of oil if we would just drill it.
