I think you are right on the fact about glass houses. But the Dems have no problems throwing stones and it works for them. Being passive will not win you elections.
Oh and here is novel idea, how about cleaning our house so we can throw stones.

When are the Republicians going to go on the offense? Start calling the Demo’s out on all their BS. We need a Designated Hitter to get in front of cameras to make the Demo’s cry “you’re not playing fair.” Where is the leadership? And I’m not talking about the wimps there now.

Sorry Michelle (and the rest of you), but I am not at all mystified by the “bi-partisan CYA syndrome” that we are all witnessing. I believe that the Republicans are cognizant of that old proverb:
“People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.”

The Republicans know they are guilty of PLENTY. Sure, the Dhimmicrats are most likely guilty of WAY more graft and corruption than our side, but the Republicans know that if they speak up, the Democrats will retaliate. The Republicans also know that if the Dhimmis can’t find any wrong-doings on the Republican side to “expose,” the unhinged leftists won’t hesitate to fabricate or manufacture something completely artificial. Furthermore, both sides know that by the time that the MSM finally owns up to (or finishes) fanning the flames of false charges, the damage will have already been done. Sort of like the Duke U. lacrosse team rape case that has been playing out in the media.

Politics is a very dirty business. Righteous people who possess some measure of integrity are not at all immune to being unfairly soiled by all of it. Perhaps that’s why we all hang out at blogs like HA — and why we find all of this stuff so fascinating.

What rankles is that this air of “bipartisanship” is a one-way road. It takes little imagination to surmise what the reaction would be if a Republican had done the same thing that Conyers has: Donk and media page one/lead story caterwauling about the “culture of corruption” coupled with his fellow Republicans calling for (and getting) his pelt.

It’s un-freakin’-believable that Dems can continue to get away with corruption like this.

And it’s un-freakin’believable that so-called Republicans in congress are too p***y to call them on it, instead adopting W’s “new tone”.
