Hillary: Obama campaign will fizzle

Drudge reports, in big red font nonetheless:

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton views Barack Obama as her biggest obstacle to nomination, the NEW YORK TIMES is planning to report, but she believes the threat of his candidacy will diminish — as voters learn how inexperienced he is in government and foreign affairs!

MORE

NYT reporter Adam Nagourney has filed a high-impact story, newsroom sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT. Publication time: Unknown.

Clinton has engaged in a series of nearly nonstop political consultations since Election Day, in what her advisers say are preparations for, in all likelihood, announcing her interest in running for president.

[That announcement could come in weeks.]

Hopefully she will spend all of her war chest combatting the other Democrats in the primaries that she won’t have enough to combat the Republican candidate and she is the one that will fizzle out.

The Clintonistas’ personal destruction machine is just gearing up. Expect them to have tons of dirt on Rudy and McCain. Obama isn’t invulnerable to Clinton’s dirty tricks. If he has any skeletons in his closet, we can count on the Clintonistas to dredge them up and put them on full display.

Will the MSM stand by their Barack Star, or cave to pressure from Chillary & company?

It’s a laughable situation either way. The choice is Clinton or Obama, with Edwards, Kerry and Gore waiting like jackals to pounce on the wounded. A parade of losers.

Step one on the Way to Hillary’s World:
Will anyone be able to print a list of all the bills the Dems plan to shove down the collective throat of the US in the first 100 hours? Plus, the ramifications of each one?
Seems the MSM is not interested in informing the public of the intended actions of the next Congress. Indications are that the Democrats plan to operate without debate.

The pot calling the kettle black.

No way. She has tons of money, will raise tons more, knows the party machinery better than Obama, knows where the bodies are buried, etc. etc.

Unless he is, by some rare fluke, a naturally gifted politician who doesn’t need years of experience and campagning to successfully get the nomination, she is right. He will fizzle out.

Either he will commit some unforgivable faux pas (Yeaaarrrrggghhh!) or he will not be able to raise enough money. Or Hillary will send her flying monkeys to carry him away. There’s no way a first term senator who has never had a tough campaign is going to take that brass ring away from HRC.

Doesn’t matter, Obama is running to be her VP anyway, everyone already knows what their ticket looks like… but what will we have? Any chance Jeb or Condi might sneak in there, maybe even just as VP?

RightWinged on January 2, 2007 at 9:38 PM

Maybe Obama will fade. But what about the Silky Pony?

JammieWearingFool on January 2, 2007 at 9:51 PM

Bad Penny, that looks like the program so me, this is an election that will determine the future of America like non other, Hillary and her sex-addicted other must not be allowed in the WH again. I wish I had some confidence in the Republicans to beat them, but unfortunately I have grave doubts.

bbz123 on January 2, 2007 at 10:15 PM

The Democratic nominee in 2008 will be either John Edwards or Al Gore. Both Hillary and Obama will fizzle in the primaries.

Slublog on January 2, 2007 at 10:55 PM

How funny is it to hear Sir Edmund Hillary speak of someones inexperience. This from a woman who has yet to field a question of substance from any reporter who wasn’t carrying her jock-strap and cup. Or a woman who has yet to enter any arena where she may actually have to defend any vote, idea, or statement she’s ever had or made. Experience? Talk to the voters who aren’t drinking your kool-aid and they will tell you they had enough of your 8 years experience………….and additional 6 for those New Yorkers with half a brain(apparently there aren’t many of those)….

Hillary Clinton is the only thing that could happen to get a Republican elected in ‘08 IMO.

Of course a Republican with the tiniest bit of personality or charisma wouldn’t hurt either.

Yeah, I’m still wondering if one exists too.

No more OsamaObamamania?

Didn’t the black kettle admit to inhaling the pot?

Not only that, but he, in a very PC way, smokes, not cigars, but cigarettes.

Yeah, but the media will let her become the first presidential candidate since McKinley to run for office without leaving her front porch. It will be Larry King and Matt Lauer, with maybe a half-question from Katie

Let’s all take a trip down fantasy lane for just a moment, and suppose that there was a national political party, not the one represented by a jackass, that decided it really wanted to represent this nation.

This party would realize that it didn’t need to fabricate a message, it has always had the message that resonated with the majority of Americans. Then it would catapult that message to the front of everything it said or did between now and November 4, 2008. The party would not consider compromise on the foundations of the message, and wouldn’t run scared everytime a poll came out that seemed unfavorable.

That party would win any national election against any Democrat opponent, without doubt, Shrillary or no Shrillary.

Ok, time to come back to reality. Since the party doesn’t have the malkins to do that, it’s up to folks like us.

As if she might actually have any more experience in anything but capitulating to our enemies.. that and cohorting with moonbats who want to destroy the fabric of this nation.

“Obama will fizzle out”

I hate to admit this but, I actually agree with Hilary. EW! EW! EEEWWWW! I need a shower now!

Tony737 on January 3, 2007 at 6:21 AM

Hey, RW, Condi/Jeb is my dream ticket! :-)

Tony737 on January 3, 2007 at 6:55 AM

JammieWearingFool on January 2, 2007 at 9:51 PM

That link is the greatest, these are the guys who want to run our country.
He read somewhere in our history about a compact.

right2bright on January 3, 2007 at 8:52 AM

I agree Obama will fizzle. Like all things in the media that get over-hyped quickly, once they reach a peak, they quickly fizzle out. Although I have to say that my 9 year old loved the Barack Obama spoof set to the tune of “The Little Drummer Boy” that Allah posted. He went around the house singing “Barack Obama, rock your momma, Barack Obama”. Kinda drove me crazy.
JammieWearingFool, the Silky Pony video was hysterical. That made my day.

vcferlita on January 3, 2007 at 9:08 AM

I think Obama and Clinton will both fizzle. I predict Edwards will get the Dem nomination.

bj1126 on January 3, 2007 at 9:22 AM

I just don’t see how Hillary can “fizzle”. She has the fundraising ability to buy “sizzle” forever. And she’ll never be without intense energy in the delivery of her message de jour. I can see her flat-out losing primaries to basic dislike. I could also see her demolished by some grand gaffe – “I think centralized economic planning can be achieved in a sustainable manner…”

But simple TomHarkinlike fizzle…? Nah.

eeyore on January 3, 2007 at 10:00 AM

Even in The Peoples Republic of Illinois they are starting to ask themselves…
Ok, so what HAS he done, and exactly what is his platform….

Still waiting….

CBarker on January 3, 2007 at 12:40 PM

Well, if anyone should know what’s gonna happen to Obama’s bid for pres, it’s Hitlary.

Now what are we going to do about OUR ticket? The MSM has already decided it’s between Giuliani and McCain. I hate both and would probably sit out if those were the choices. We’ve got work to do, people!

bj1126 on January 3, 2007 at 9:22 AM

You’re probably right bj1126 – because the American public really doesn’t like a dynasty.

However, an Edwards/Obama or Obama/Edwards ticket is entirely possible.
