The vidio ends early. fix it.

Vyrillykos on January 2, 2007 at 8:57 AM

Vyrillykos, works fine for me. Maybe it’s your computer. Fix it. (And stop being so demanding.)

JinxMcHue on January 2, 2007 at 9:23 AM

Michelle, you sound a little under the weather. Take it easy and be sure to drink plenty of chicken soup.

aunursa on January 2, 2007 at 9:41 AM

AHhh…welcome a New Year!

seejanemom on January 2, 2007 at 9:45 AM

Yep, I caught the holiday germs.

Pablo on January 2, 2007 at 9:47 AM

Feel better Michelle…your delivery was fine…I only noticed you were fighting a cold because I listen to these all the times, and it was obvious your voice was a little bit lower than in other appearances.

asc85 on January 2, 2007 at 9:52 AM

I was interested in this, as Ipas is in my neighborhood. It looks like they may have gotten a little whiff of the coffee. Their website has been purged of any references to Climaco – I only found the fundraiser in Google’s cached pages. They continue to argue for decriminalization of abortion in El Salvador, but it seems they didn’t want to take a hit(t) on this particular story.

eeyore on January 2, 2007 at 9:55 AM

Well, evidently, for the NY SLIMES (as the Great One calls it)and for the pro-abortion groups…infanticide is an acceptable subsitute if an abortion cannot be obtained.

But, then again, they all drink water from the same toilet bowl.

Compliments to Mr. Calame for writing that article exposing the lie. He will probably be punished in some way for getting that article printed.

Many male reporters tend to support abortion NO MATTER WHAT because their wives and girlfriends support it and these guys do not have the balls to disagree with them if they wanted to because they would not get a moment’s piece, or perhaps she will not “give him any” until he DOES agree.

This story is just another example of how the NY SLIMES is not to be trusted. Hell, I would not trust the NY SLIMES with a weather report. During WW II, the SLIMES did not report the Nazi death/torture camps, or if mentioned at all, it was buried in the back pages. And, as I have been told, Adolph was referred to as…HERR Hitler.

Legal proceedings should have implemented IMMEDIATELY against THE SLIMES after they began printed classified information. PRESS CARDS SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONFISCATED.

Thank you, Michelle, for today’s Vent.

BTW-In addition to Aunursa’s suggestion, I also suggest a daily ration of Rum to get you back in top condition, or at least a bit of rum added to your evening tea (normal tea with caffine, not that caffine free crap that NY Slime reporters drink).

The False Dervish on January 2, 2007 at 10:02 AM

Hmmm. My posting did not appear. Well, I try this again.

Well, evidently, for the NY SLIMES and the pro-abortion groups…INFANTICIDE IS AN ACCEPTABLE ALTERNATIVE TO ABORTION.

My compliments to Mr. Calame for getting his article printed. I would not be surprised if he is punished by the Slimes in some fashion for writing it.

THE NY SLIMES IS A DISFUNCTIONAL PUBLICATION (D-UHH!). Legal proceedings should have been implimented IMEDIATELY after the Slimes began publishing classified information in their quest to become the Information Minister for Islamo-Nazis. PRESS CARDS SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONFISCATED. During WW II, stories about the Nazi death/torture camps were NOT published by the Slimes. So, The Slimes does have a disfunctional history.

Michelle, thanks for this Vent. It justifies the Slimes’ devotion to the principles of the Communist Manifesto and Restaurant Guide (as I call it) that “…the ends jusfifies the means.”

Michelle, thank you for this Vent.

BTW- Michelle, in addition to what Aunursa suggested concerning chicken soup, I like to suggest a daily ration of rum to get you back into good health, or at least a bit of rum in your evening tea. AND I MEAN REAL TEA WITH CAFFINE…NOT THAT DECAF TEA THAT THE NY SLIMES REPORTERS DRINK!)

NYT is no longer any more reliable than the National Enquirer.

heroyalwhyness on January 2, 2007 at 10:31 AM

I find it interesting that despite the fact the NYT is unreliable, treasonous, and biased; it is respectable enough that Michelle has chosen it as the source of the quote used to describe her at the top of

Humorous, no?

JaHerer22 on January 2, 2007 at 10:53 AM

The vidio ends early. fix it.

Vyrillykos on January 2, 2007 at 8:57 AM

Video police, fix thyself!

NYT is a leftwing political rag.

Wade on January 2, 2007 at 10:57 AM

JaHerer, who says that quoting them using the word “firecracker” in reference to Michelle means they’re respectable?

It is humorous. That’s the point of it.

Pablo on January 2, 2007 at 11:16 AM

I do not have audio for the vent. I have sound for everything else as I also tried my realrhapsody connection.

Great Vent Michelle! This is the reporting and commentary we need and cannot seem to get almost anywhere else. This exposure of MSM bias and refusal to acknowledge false reporting makes Hot Air a must see every day!

In my opinion, another example of the New York Times, a component of the MSM, bias and reporting to support their own political agenda. Their refusal to acknowledge their false reporting and provide equally prominent correction further verifies that much of what they print is propaganda with political motivation.

The “Mad Blog Rabble” (that’s us) are expected by the Imperial Media to bow their Majesty and accept whatever they decide to feed us without objection or question. Any question of their reporting or motive is dismissed as “offensive”, unfounded, and an unacceptable question of their ethics by ignorant peasants who are not worthy of a response (“Mad Blog Rabble”).

Those are not ignorant serfs of the Borat kind should support efforts to expose the MSM’s distriubtion of propaganda disguised as “reporting”, and recognize that their “news” is biased to their political agenda.

Stand up and recognized the MSM is attempting to manipulate us to their politcial agenda!

omegaram on January 2, 2007 at 12:12 PM

A great Vent. The only problem I have is that every scandal is –gate; Irangate, Plamegate, Clamacogate, Rathergate, etc. This references Watergate, a Republican/conservative scandal. Maybe we should start naming them after Democrat/Liberal scandals. I loved the Chuckaquiddick name for the Michael Steele identity theft. The real problem is which Demo/Lib scandal to reference. The choices are way too many. Something to think about. I bet there a lot of clever and creative people out there who can come up with some great alternatives.

DAT60A3 on January 2, 2007 at 12:37 PM

Infanticide is the logical extension of partial birth abortion. The MSM, and abortion rights activists make this obvious by martyring a known murderer, they fully support infanticide.

Rode Werk on January 2, 2007 at 12:39 PM

You can’t catch a cold from someone on a video who has a cold right ?

moc23 on January 2, 2007 at 1:13 PM

Maybe the NYT got the story from AP, who got the story from Jamil Hussein (sp?), who got it from a source high up and close to the prisoner. We will have to wait for Jamil to give us his sources. Meanwhile do not, until you have proof, question the NYT.
Who do you think you are? This is the NYT! Bow all bloggers.

Thanks alot Michelle, I got too close to the screen and now I have a cold.

right2bright on January 2, 2007 at 1:23 PM

I wish my home town paper (the WashPost) had an ombudsman with anything like the steel of the NYT’s. Of course, I’m sure the Old Grey ______ (insert prefered noun) will take care to hire a 100% sycophant, rather than the 50% model it currently owns when Calame’s run closes.

On another note: Hey Ms. M.! How about some more “The Vent” shows? Seems to me a few more episodes will prompt some smart network to snap up the show.

doufree on January 2, 2007 at 1:29 PM

Another great smackdown of the NYT, as usual, and it was so delivered even with its messenger not feeling quite 100%. If it’s contagious, well, maybe it would cause the NYT to cough up the truth? Get well soon, Michelle!

flutejpl on January 2, 2007 at 1:39 PM

The response of the NYT – as well as the AP, the LAT, Reuters and other dino-media – to being repeatedly shown up by the blogosphere is revealing. They resemble a close-minded old codger, stubbornly insisting color television and electronic fuel injection are just fads:

“If we ignore them long enough, and dismiss them hard enough, they’ll simply go away – and then we can get back to how things were back in the good old days, when we were the only game in town.”

It’s sad and pathetic when the old codger’s self-delusion reaches the point where he has to be sent to The Home. But at least he has the legitimate excuse of old age and infirmity – what has the Times got to excuse its increasing inability to cope with reality?

Spurius Ligustinus on January 2, 2007 at 1:58 PM

P.S.: Get well soon, Michelle!

Spurius Ligustinus on January 2, 2007 at 1:58 PM

Even a little under the weather Michelle still kicks the NYTimes butts. They’d better watch out when she’s 100% again.

Get well soon, Michelle.

thirteen28 on January 2, 2007 at 2:06 PM

Dittos on getting well!

If it wasn’t for you guys, I would never know what the Slimes, [D]Opera, Keith Ogerman, or what any other wacko is saying out there in the MSM.

Or at least I wouldn’t have the patience!

Yur makin my 2007! ;)

Kini on January 2, 2007 at 2:20 PM

It may be false, better that it were true. Taking of an innocent life, should not be without consequences.Because something is legal, does not necessarily make it right.

MarkB on January 2, 2007 at 2:41 PM

Absolutely, Mark. There’s nothing outrageous in the idea of abortion being illegal. It’s all geography, whether the baby was in or out of it’s mother, it’s still murder.

However, the irony that poor-choicers would choose this case for their latest battle cry is too delonk to pass by un noticed. Thanks for reporting what others ignore, Michelle!

Jewels on January 2, 2007 at 2:57 PM

((ha ha. I make up my own words. “delonk” = “delicious” or something like that. Oops-a-daisy.))

Jewels on January 2, 2007 at 2:59 PM

THANK YOUfor this report Michelle. Your right on as usual and the slimes will always be slimes that is thier agenda. Why would they want to be truthfull?? It isn’t in there interests to do anything moral is it??? No wonder the MSM keeps going down the toilet more and more each year. Keep up the awesome work Hot Air and let them libs have it over and over until maybe, just maybe , one day more will awaken to thier deceptive type journalism.

I thought it was Yiddish.

Has anyone seen this story picked up anywhere else? Fox News?

mikeyboss on January 2, 2007 at 7:49 PM

It wasn’t infanticide – It was a post-term abortion. Yeah, that’s it…

(eeeeww, now I feel slimy)

InsolentWoman on January 2, 2007 at 8:07 PM

Feel better, Firecracker!

InsolentWoman on January 2, 2007 at 8:11 PM

Egad Michelle, got a bit of a cold? Hope you’re feeling better at this late hour. I found the New York times refusal to correct that story rather amusing. Could they be setting us up for a new definition of murder? No, officer, I didn’t kill this man. I performed a late..late..well, 48 year late term abortion. I mean, according to the libs, abortion isn’t murder, right? And if strangling a baby after it’s born is abortion, well, hell, I just found a legal way to solve the Gitmo crisis. I’d even release it as a statement to the times. Don’t worry about the civil rights of the prisoners..we didn’t execute them without trial. We late term aborted them. A bit of a stretch? Maybe. But the times won’t even correct a damn lie. Why can’t I be absurd? Thanks for another thought provoking vent Michelle. Happy New Year all.

austinnelly on January 2, 2007 at 8:32 PM

Thanks Michelle for making this story known. Abortion as a means of birth control is among our greatest sins as a society and I am absolutely disgusted at how people so easily justify it to themselves. As it turns out, it’s so acceptable to the Left that they’ll even use the murder of a born baby to promote their cause. Sickening doesn’t begin to describe it.
