Best wishes and thanks to all our readers for making this year a successful one for HA. As a token of our gratitude, we offer you the first on-air profanity of 2007.

There’s UFOs over New York and I ain’t too surprised.

Let me also take this opportunity to say, apropos of nothing, that I. Love. Banderas.

Happy New Year AP, I appreciate so much what you did for me.

It was just a link, but… you’re a cool d00d

Vinnie on January 1, 2007 at 1:30 AM

Happy New Year everyone…

Let me also take this opportunity to say, apropos of nothing, that I. Love. Banderas.

Get your own girl! Actually, I’d be willing to give her up if I can have Kiran Chetry and Rebecca Gomez.

BTW.. I saw this… wtf? Were these people hypnotized or something?

RightWinged on January 1, 2007 at 1:32 AM

A safe, prosperous, and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all, even lefties.

Hey! A cute woman uttering a little profanity? You can put her on reciting every profanity known to man, if I will never hear Sharpton, Jackson, Rangle again.

R D on January 1, 2007 at 2:01 AM

A safe, prosperous, and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all, even lefties.

Wait, I didn’t agree to that! Damn the small print!

I think you need to watch the video again R D… Banderas wasn’t the one who said it… unless you think the little older lady was a cute woman. Don’t want to judge her and say she’s not “cute”, so I’ll just say if she is who you were referring to, I guess we have different tastes.

RightWinged on January 1, 2007 at 2:32 AM

Happy New Year, Allah, Bryan, SeeDub, Ian, Michelle. Thank you for Hot Air.

Happy New Year, fellow commenters!

I’ll have to take your word for it R W. My hearing aid is in the shop. But I’ll take fingernails on a chalkboard over the “gentlemen” I mentioned earlier. Unless you have different tastes…

I bow to your superior listening skills. I was listening and not paying attention to who said it. I apologize. :-(

R D on January 1, 2007 at 3:06 AM

OK! Happy New Year to us on the west coast! Good night to all, and to all a wonderful new year…….

R D on January 1, 2007 at 3:09 AM

Happy….etc…

Oh, shit! (Pardon my merde) FNC rebroadcast the “slip” at 0214CST, without bleeping the “slip-of-the-tongue”!!! I love it!

np, R D, just thought I’d help ya out there. And agreed on the “gentlemen” point.

RightWinged on January 1, 2007 at 3:42 AM

Here’s another Happy New Year from Big D to all the HA family and that includes my fellow lowly commenters, too!

AP, are MKH and that cute blonde Demo chick so 2006?
It’s Banderas in 2007, huh? Best of luck with the ladies in the New Year.
Thanks HA for making so much of the past year bearable, including losing the Election in Nov.
I’ll never forget the Election Night chatroom here–if we had to lose, at least I was with friends!

Jen the Neocon on January 1, 2007 at 3:59 AM

Happy New Year HotAir staff and members. May the Lord richly bless each of you in 2007.

Freelancer on January 1, 2007 at 4:31 AM

Happy New Year to everyone at Hot Air. BTW, yes, I like Banderas too but I think I’m partial to Jane Skinner. Heck they’re all nice, why do you think they call it the FOX Network.

Jeff on January 1, 2007 at 5:19 AM

I remember him on Howard Stern. Kreskin is a bit of a hypnotist. And a wack nut.

Mazztek on January 1, 2007 at 5:59 AM

I wish to thank all the blogs that open my eyes daily over the absolute crap being forcefed the American public.

I wish to that those that work here, Allah, Bryan, Michelle, SeeDubya, and Ian (and those that may be unnamed accomplices) for a wonderful page that I visit several times a day, and even use to cut and paste for arguements against lefties on my forums.

And thanks to the Hot Air forum posters, who will not Battlestar Gallactica die.

Mortis on January 1, 2007 at 7:39 AM

Happy New Year one and all.

I like Julie Banderas, too. I despise her co-host, BillyGirl Hemmer. He thinks he’s looking in a mirror instead of the camera. Wish FOX would dump him.

All the best in 2007, y’all.

doingwhatican on January 1, 2007 at 7:44 AM

I question the timing.

Happy New Year everyone.

mikeyboss on January 1, 2007 at 7:46 AM

Happy New Year Hot Air, AP, MM, and all who participate and read here. May God bless you all.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Jane’s list of what is IN and OUT for 2007.

Everyone seems to be sleeping in this morning! I need to go start the last of my HOLIDAY HAM repasts….black-eyed peas in HAM stock, corn bread and warm spinach salad with bacon vinagrette dressing for lunch. Wish y’all could come eat with us–there’s plenty. And after all, its the “plenty” part that I’m the most thankful for.

Blessings to all my HotAir buddies this year!

seejanemom on January 1, 2007 at 10:48 AM

Happy New Year everyone. I went to bed early and slept late. Moving slow today.

JammieWearingFool on January 1, 2007 at 10:54 AM

Sh*t… I just missed by a few minutes being the first poster on this, the New Year thread at Hot Air, the best damn news blog ever. I went to bed at 1:00 and the second to the last thing I did was check in here. Error page for Jan 007… Okay, I guess that’s enough emo-ing for now… I need COFFEE NOW “$%@#!” it.

Happy New Year!!!

Your “good luck” meal for the New Year.

Eat up.

doingwhatican on January 1, 2007 at 11:11 AM

Here’s to hoping all you folks find the dime in the cabbage today.

I’ve always been a Huddy man myself, but JB is definitely fine as wine.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all the HA folks and especially MM who birthed this brainchild we call HotAir.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all the commentators. I enjoy the posts, especially the wits (even Drifter and honora).
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all our men and women in the Armed Forces all around the world paying the price for MY Freedom!
God Bless them and their selfless Families.
May 2007 be a little brighter for all of us!

Happy new years to everyone. I hope everyone made it home safe if they went out. Thankfully … I’m still in one piece.

:-)

One Angry Christian on January 1, 2007 at 12:22 PM

It was funny to see Julie inundate Bill with confetti while his mouth was open. Post that clip! I think he was still swalling some of it 5 minutes later. Haha.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

I. Love. Banderas.

Hey AP (welcome back), keep your mits off. You wanted KP, so stay away from my girl.

Happy New Year. Bless God You ALL.
first free tip to you all…firefox 2 has spell check, kinda. It underlines all mis-spelled words in red, even in these posts while you are writting. (hint) Some of you might take particular interest in this feature.

Happy new year to all in the blogitude.

Since it’s the first day of the year, I want to be the first to start it off with something related to our country’s most important issue of 2007.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070101/ap_on_bi_ge/slovenia_euro

There are only two topics anyone should be concerned with right now. Islam and immigration issues.

Gregor on January 1, 2007 at 3:49 PM

Happy New Year to you all at Hotair. :)

MoonbatMedia on January 1, 2007 at 4:04 PM

Jeez Gregor, could’nt you have waited at least until tomorrow to bring that serious stuff up?

But since you mentioned it, a billboard that recently went up near my house is entirely in spanish and our new phonebooks were delivered in English and spanish versions this year. I’m in Texas by the way.

Hope that was’nt too depressing.

Happy New Year everybody!

Scot on January 1, 2007 at 4:11 PM

Happy New Year from Tyler Texas, Rose Capital of the World.

gradyman on January 1, 2007 at 4:16 PM

Shoot, RalphyBoy beat me from being the first to comment on this thread…I’ll never forgive you :)

…I was busy washing clothes, and washing some more…my grandma always said “if you have dirty clothes on Jan.01, you’ll be dirty all year…” :)

On a serious or not so sobering note, it’s always tapas for New Year’s Eve, so that when the guests arrive, the cooking/serving is done. Tapas on the counter, bar open and all to their own devices…champagne for midnight, staying up late and sleeping half of Jan. 1st away…Boy, I’m cooked/baked out. Time for serious work tomorrow!

Happy New Year to all and those you love and care for.

Entelechy on January 1, 2007 at 4:37 PM

Here’s to a prosperous New Year to all you eeeevil capitalists out there. A fruitful New Year to all you baby makin’ breeders overpopulating the earth. And a productive New Year to all you civilian-murdering military war mongers out there in HotAiristan.

Eww, is THAT what it feels like to be a hate filled leftist tree huggin’ hippie dope smokin’ commie? Yuck, no wonder you libs are so miserable.

Happy New Year to all HotAirHeads, commentors, readers and staff.

Tony737 on January 1, 2007 at 5:11 PM

I like Banderas too, but I love KIRAN CHETRY. The sexiest woman alive, though is CLAUDIA PALACIOS of CNN en Espanol. Unreal!
