I had a dead-tree issue of the NYT on the plane this morning– got my nails all dirty– and noticed this humdinger of a front-pager. Calling them simply, “a group that advocates for Muslims in the U.S.” the investigative powers of the Grey Lady turn….

If the Democrats were smart they’d try to outodo the Republicans on foreign policy and fight the next election on domestic issues.

With the complicity of the press and the stupidity of the public they very well could end up being the “Defense” party in 2008, especially with the “we can’t ever come to our own defense” Republicans that are currently in office. Not a single lie or obfuscation gets answered, why, I even caught some Republican’s actually referring to Foreign Intelligence as Domestic Wiretapping like the liberals. They remind me of the “Gang that Couldn’t Shoot Straight” or the “Keystone Cops” or the “Three Stooges” or something, yeah, that’s it REPUBLICAN STOOGES, coming soon to a theatre near you!!!

On June 21, a senior DHS official from Washington personally guided Muslim officials from the Council on American-Islamic Relations on a behind-the-scenes tour of Customs screening operations at O'Hare International Airport in response to CAIR complaints that Muslim travelers were being unfairly delayed as they entered the U.S. from abroad.

Conservatives receive a lot of flak for being…Conservative.
It’s however been proved many times throughout our history that liberals cry, whine and have tantrums but it’s Conservatives that get the hard work done to provide and preserve freedom from oppression including from liberals oppressive nanny communism.

Abject hate from the left seems to have clouded even the speck of decent judgment older liberals used to have.
What remains is hypocritical protection (no matter how evil or repressive) for anyone except Americans who don’t deserve to be saved from anything.

She isn’t even close to Patty Murray or Dick Durbin. Boxer did the right thing, period. She should be praised for doing so. If she, or anyone else does the wrong thing, they should be castigated. Be fair about this.

Also, she did a greater service by drawing the usual CAIR reaction – anti-semitism, crying discrimination, blah, blah, blah. The more people see it, the more they will be become inured to it.

I will happily eat my words, my hat, shoes, heck, my extensive cardigan sweater collection if it’s true that Boxer is doing this out of a sense of national interest. To be honest, it does give me hope for our country. The only problem is that Boxer’s constituency will more than likely force her to apologize and suck up to CAIR.

Did anyone notice the photo? What a trash rag Newsweek is – They use a photo of Bush from Sept 2001 with meeting with CAIR and Awad with a caption – “which Sen. Boxer lately decided may not be a savory group.”
