Why do we have so many traitors–if the Syrian press is at all accurate–in elected office right now?

If they’re lying the politicians know it, and are going anyway. If they’re telling the truth these guys are committing sedition at best, and treason at worst.

Either way, these guys are under cutting our efforts to secure our national defense, and should be seriously reprimanded if not prosecuted.

Seems like every freakin Senator and Congressman is traveling the world – visiting world leaders right now. Reid, Kerry, Dodd, Spector….I guess they are waiting and smiling – like Ed the cop.

Arlen Specter is the single most reason that Rick Santorum lost his seat in Pennsylvania…I know tons of voters that held it against him for supporting Specter.

As you watching for Ricky’s??? Specter remains very popular–don’t believe me, look at the polls. Especially so now that he’s a cancer survivor. People love that stuff.

First I lived most of the year in PA and vote here, our primary residence is here.

Now I’ll have to move.

Second, Specter 53%, Hoeffel 42% in the 2004 race. Barely?

Specter was a four-term incumbent with name recognition running against a congressional lightweight named Hoeffel. He should have won by 25 points. In 1998 Specter won by a 61-35% margin.

Third, Ricky voted 95% of the time with Bush. Look it up.

True, he agreed with Bush on many issues – they were both staunch conservatives with high Christian morals. That doesn’t make Santorum a yes-man, it does infer they have similar convictions.

Santorum was pro-family, anti-gay and anti-abortion – making him a favorite target for liberals everywhere. His stance on these issues played more of a role in his defeat than the War in Iraq. Pennsylvania is replete with liberals like you.

Fourth, I don’t particularly enjoy making an ass of myself, not having a lot of experience in that area. How is it? ;^)

When is Bush going to step up and tell these yo-yos to stay home and take care of their own problems. I mean do we have a tour bus leaving every hour to Syria with every “washed up hasbeen wannabe”? Sheesh.

Arlen Specter answers to the people of Pennsylvania, not George Bush. If Specter would run today, he would win in a landslide. Supporting Bush in Pa is great if you’re not real anxious to continue your political career, just ask Ricky S.

What is it about this particular war that has brought out the absolute worst in nearly our entire political class?

The Clintonisation of culture during the 90s. After the Cold War ended we all assumed we could go sound asleep for the next fifty years, then the jihadists woke some of us up. Some people have just hurled the alarm clock across the room and gone back asleep.

This man is such a FOOL, who can’t quite learn that our enemies are playing as a FOOL, even though he’s been to Syria 16 times at taxpayer expense now.

Hussein used the delay to rebuild his military and, on Aug. 2, 1990, ordered his tanks into Kuwait.

He isn’t even a “useful idiot,” because he’s just simply useless. To use a common, if earthy, phrase from my part of the country, Spector has “shit for brains.”
