Obviously, our airlines and airports are not "sensitive" enough with respect to Hajis. So, I propose to shortcut the entire process for those leaving the USA enroute to Mecca. But only if the Haji traveler feels the need to avail themselves of this "special treatment" because they are offended by the treatment that all other passengers must endure to fly today.

1. Give them a special airport to depart from. Instead of a commercial or international airport. This way they would NOT have to stand in the same long lines that I do, or go through metal detectors while in my stocking feet.

2. Give them a special aircraft, where they can have their privacy protected. Since the airlines can't be trusted to provide them, special US military aircraft will have to be provided. This way they avoid the frightened looks of their fellow non-Muslim passengers who do not understand the need for Muslims to drop to the ground facing Mecca 5 times a day.

3. On aircraft used for Haji flights, give them special seating areas, to insure that their religious sensibilites are not accidently offended. After all, this is the entire point of treating Hajis as "special" people.

So, I propose that we meet Hajis needs.

We have a number of B-52 bombers not in use at the moment. They have spacious accomidations in what they call the "bomb bays." So, for all those Hajis who feel INSULTED at having to go through the same humiliating "screening" that the rest of Americans have to, just because they are "special people" on a pilgrimage, then here is what they should do: Report to the nearest USAF base. Climb into the bomb bay of the designated B-52 bomber. And enjoy your direct, nonstop flight to Mecca. When over Mecca, depart by the opening where the floor of your spacious, reserved seating area, used to be.

CAIR officials can easily be accomodated in the forward special seating area (First Class), while the average Haji can travel in the aft special seating area (Business or Coach).

Or they can cut the crap and go through the proceedures THAT THEIR FELLOW CO-RELIGEOUS FANATICS FORCED UPON THE REST OF US and STFU!

Did we tell our Marines to be "sensative" when they landed on Tarawa? Or at Chosin? Or during Tet?

P.C. has flipped the whole world upside down.

Actually Arutz Sheva copied some brief details from a State Department website article that appeared on Wednesday, and on which I posted details on that day, here:
http://www.debbieschlussel.com/archives/2006/12/absurd_to_the_n.html
It's far worse than the part they repeated.

This joke of a security agency is costing the American Taxpayer Billions a year.

I say get rid of the TSA. Their Security measures are PC insanity. The do absolutely nothing to protect the flying public except put on a show.

I refuse to fly anymore period. I refuse to be treated like a criminal and pushed around by a bunch of incompetent pencil pushers that would not know a terrorist from my Grandmother.

What a sad joke.

Our Political Leaders have gone of the deep end by allowing this travisty to continue.

It's not like they are going to blow up a plane on their way TO MECCA. I suspect they would want to complete the required hajj before dying.

However the return trip might be a possibility.

I agree.. if these Muslims actually had to LIVE in these places, they wouldnt.
The TSA is a joke. Period. As a frequent flyer too it is infuriating! But let's be SURE to be "sensitive" until they have instituted Sharia law.

As for stereotypes: How many non-Muslim males have there been that have intentionally flown passenger airliners into populated buildings in the U.S.? Let me check my notebook… Oh, yeah! None!
/sarcasm

rmgraha on December 29, 2006 at 4:35 PM

I thought the flying of airplanes into buildings was a Zionist plot, or a US government conspiracy, or that there were not aircraft flown into buildings but that they were missiles projected by corrupt Bush cronies, or that it was a combined conspiracy in which explosives were planted throughout the buildings and intentionally detonated, a la demolition experts, all perpetrated by George W. Bush, the Skull and Bones, Mossad, MI-6, Zionists, Israel, the US, Jews, Christians, and a few others.

We must be sensitive to Muslims, but it is okay to inconvenience everyone else.

The American Transportation Security Administration has instructed airport security guards to be sensitive to more than 15,000 Muslims traveling to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj Muslim holiday.

Of course, it is not only permissible but required that TSA screeners be insensitive to the millions of non-Muslim passengers that fly every day (speaking as a frequent flyer).

Putting checkpoint X-ray machines on a continuous-speed setting, which decreases the amount of time a screener can study the monitor.
  Huh?

Allowing individuals without proper security clearances to help load luggage in security zones where bomb-detection machines are located.
  What the..?

Removing effective - but slow - workers from critical posts like viewing X-ray monitors at peak times.
Effective but...what?

With the resulting job performance ratings from this, no one will be wearing sneakers to work.

Let them stay in kingdom of Saudi Arabia and see how they like to live with royal nepotism. Bet they'll learn newfound respect for the rights they have here. Or not. One year time limit before re-admittance should do the trick.

We could use our own oil while perfecting alternative energy and be completely independent from the pyschotic middle east. Then we wouldn't have to be so "sensitive". Of course, the democrats would never want us to do that.

Sensitivity Training = learning to ignore your own common sense, your own gut feelings. What about sensitivity training for Muslims to learn not to engage in activities that are designed to be provocative and frightening?
