Video: Channel 4 (UK)’s “alternative Christmas message”

Our pal kasper kasper carved out a little time from his holiday celebration this afternoon to gift us with this, which ran opposite Queen Elizabeth’s traditional Christmas message at 3 p.m. London time. There’s been buzz about it for weeks, starting on December 5 when Channel 4 first announced that a Muslim woman wearing the niqab would deliver this year’s message and cresting eleven days later, when she dropped out due to threats from non-Muslims and pressure from Muslim community leaders, who allegedly told her it “wasn’t her place” to speak publicly about Islam. That woman’s name was Khadija — the same as this woman’s. Perhaps she changed her mind again and decided to appear. Or had her mind changed for her.
Her message: peace on earth, goodwill to men, and shame on the British media for failing to distinguish between Muslims and radical Muslims — followed shortly by her wish that the British army stops killing “Muslims” in Afghanistan. “Muslims” … like this guy?
Great-granddaughter of a suffragette. Now she wears the facial equivalent of a chastity belt. Somewhere Theodore Dalrymple is smiling. Grimly.

Merry Christmas all from thewebdemon.com, and Demon Blog… This is a day to celebrate, and be a little more tolerant of other religions, yet this girl doesn’t seem to see the fact that Christians are the ones that are tolerant. You don’t see Christians gunning down Imams in the street, if Muslims insult Jesus, or Christianity. The very act of a Christian Praying infront of a Muslim according to the Koran is an insult to Islam, and it is the Christians that are murderd when that happens. If you want to send a message of peace to the Christians of this world, the moderate Muslums need only to do one thing… Denounce the radical element in their countries, and abroad, that use terrorism as a tactic to force the world to comply with their views. That will never happen though, and if it does, the people that do will either be murderd or cast out of their mosques. We have seen example after example how we will never be able to “Give peace a chance” because that is not their goal.

One long ramble alternating between the superficial, meaningless and the incoherent. So, I won’t bother with it. But I do want to note that this is not Khadija’s message. It is a professionally packaged advertisement in which she is but a planned and rehearsed part of a spliced and merged interview. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a teleprompter involved.
It’s nothing more than annual Christmas message brought to us by our alternative ‘Savior’, the BBC. The lame, and laughable, part is that not only is this not Kadija’s message, but it took a hive of journalists and their minions to think up and produce, for this special day, a video that, with a different voice over and played backwards, can be their year’s end news summary by a niqab’d newsreader.
Fortunately, I got the original message, unadulterated, via the pre-Internet blogs of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and have no use for this revisionist one via Temple BBC. But I do want to thank the BBC for reminding me that I should thank God I am not one of the suckers who are forced to subsidize them. Hallelujah!

This is shallowness covered up and then uncovered by the BBC. Who does she think she is to pretend that we have to listen? Or what is the BBC think it is doing?
Because I care too much for freedom I don’t wish dhimmitude on anyone, not even on the stupidest/ignorant among us; in the abstract, however, I have the urge to see a BBC operative forced to live under sharia for a few months, not knowing that he/she’d be free again.

Remember that when a muslim uses the word person, they really mean only other muslims. Therefore, it’s ok to kill the infidel, because he isn’t truly a human being by their reckoning. Hence their indoctrination of the Jews as pigs and dogs. It’s fine to kill those, just not people.
The reinvention of a word’s definition is what gives them the moral authority to say what they say, and believe that it isn’t the lowest hypocrisy knowable. And unless we listen to their words applying the meaning they themselves apply, we will continue to misunderstand their true intent.

Who cares what she says? It’s just Channel 4’s way of sticking it to the establishment. However, they are playing a dangerous game when they do this with islamo-fascists. Maybe, the next time a terrrorist blows himself/herself up, they will take a few Channel 4 excecutives with them. Good riddance. They say she is a foreign born British citizen. Hmmmmm. This Khadija made reference to soldiers being in an awful situation (goint to Afghanistan, etc). Well, they, and we, are in this situation because ISLAMO-NAZIS STARTED IT!
She also says that more Muslims should be given a platform to speak about Islam’s true nature…well, that certainly is strange for her to say that. Here in the USA…FAR TOO FEW MUSLIMS SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE ISLAMO-NAZIS. THE PLATFORM IS AVAILABLE, BUT FAR TOO FEW MOUNT IT TO SPEAK OUT!

The issue here is whether there really are “moderate” Muslims or are those that do not actively engage in violence merely “inactive”.
The basic concept of the doctrine of Islam not being capable of peaceful coexistance with other religions, of converts from Islam not being persecuted, and other issues that speak of intolerance to the “infidel” is not being addressed by this woman.
Her entire “alternative Christmas message” seems like pure propaganda that smacks of deceit and deception.

I’ve been trying to find some response by actual British citizens to this speech. I saw about 4 comments on a Brit. newspaer website, but that’s it. I checked a few British bloggers but found nothing.

Yes, lovely, isn’t it? All that about what a swell country Britain is for exercising one’s personal choice. Presumably, the odd suicide bombing in the tube or on a bus is merely the latest Muslim expression of gratitude for all that personal freedom they appreciate. Or, perhaps blowing yourself up in close proximity to your fellow commuters is, in itself, merely another personal choice.

Methinks this may have lots of unintended consequences, one of which will be the pressure for equal time for Hindus, Jews, Christians, Buddists on the Muslim high holidays, which will gum up plenty of airtime.
Also, what kind of effect on the public is the result of being lectured to at Christmastime (baby, cute animals, mommy images – just speaking in a secular way) by someone who reminds you of Darth Vader? Warm, positive feelings don’t come to mind right off the bat.

Similarly, they use this woman, whose knowledge of the Koran, is comparable to the vast 95% of Americans who “identify themselves” as Christian, which is to say NOT MUCH. Because the channel has a remit to provide programming for minority audiences. Its sole purpose for being is to cater for groups, religions, ethnicities etc. that don’t have a voice on the other three terrestrial channels.
