Most agencies have policies dictating what is to be done when identification is lost or stolen. I have several different ID badges for different airports, and one from another agency. Each airport has their own procedures of what happens/could happen if an ID is lost, and what a holder is required to do if theirs is lost.

It would seem to me that TSA management just doesn’t give a damn about ID’s being lost, or whether any policy/rules/regulations they have in place are enforced.

If we lose a badge, we have to go through a complete investigation as to how it was lost (which must be completed before a replacement badge is issued). If someone were to lose two badges, they can be terminated (fired, not killed). I don't see how an agency with "Security" in its name can be so insecure.
