I think you might want to consider toning down the church worship, and figure some things out for yourself. I believe you, like most people, are to beholden to their denomination and despite believing 100% that what they believe is right and everyone else is wrong, have gone from a desire to worship Jesus and have become worshippers of their “church”.

Uhmm when I say Apostolic Church, I’m not referring to a building or group of people. I, like you, don’t go to a church and haven’t for quite sometime. As I stated I teach people to receive the Holy Ghost the same way the Apostles did, that is what is I meant by being “Apostolic”. If you were to take John 3:16 out of context which MANY churches do, you would be forced to conclude that simply by the ACT of seeking Jesus out, CONFESSING WITH HIS MOUTH, that he believed who Jesus was, Nicodemus was SAVED, a Christian or whatever you think the goal is…The same problem occurs with those who rely too heavily on Romans 10:9 without reading the five chapters that come before that statement is made. In it and John 3:16 a series of SPECIFIC commands ( in John it is that you must be BORN AGAIN, in Romans 8:9 it is that you don’t belong to Jesus unless you have been infilled with His Spirit), followed after a long while by a GENERAL STATEMENT ( either of God’s grace or some kind of general promise) ( God so loved the world etc, in John and “If you confess with your mouth you’ll be saved” in Romans). Fake churches go right to the general and neglect the specific. You can test this by sampling the attitude of supposed Christians in liberal churches towards those who claim to be “BORN AGAIN”. You know that the Born againers are looked down upon don’t you? As if they are radical or “insane” but they are the ONLY ones who are going to make it, as you have just read.
